Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.

She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

    A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written erotic romance book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great erotic romance movie, or better yet mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

    A book about family, both created and by blood. Second chance romance. Trying to right a wrong. Love of a child and making them a priority. Parents and grandparents do not always get things right. Relationships are hard, no matter blood or not.

    There are a few steamy parts, so reader beware.

    This is a newer author for me and I like what I have read so far!

    Second book in the Westerly Billionaire series with the story of Spencer Westerly and Hailey Tiverton. Both Spencer and Hailey hooked up in college and were each others first when it came to sexual experience. They also shared what it is to lose family during that time and were both to immature to realize what they each needed from the other and ultimately broke up and went their separate ways in life. Spencer became the ultimate party boy, drinking, women and spending all the rest of his time working to built his empire, ignoring family totally isolating himself because of things he learned as well as not wanting to feel what he lost. Hailey left college to be with her remaining family to cope with her loss only to receive even greater loss, as well as loss of her job, residence, and ended up with huge responsibilities in the form of her young niece. This story was at times many things including humorous , emotional, hot, endearing, hopeful, and made you want to know each family member's story. Great job and look forward to seeing each family member's story in your future writing.

    Spencer is now in Delinda's sight. With such a complicated past of parentage and life' obstacles, he is not going to be easy to match. Only once was he ever in a true relationship and that did not end well. So, Delinda must use her skills to provide the incentive for his path to once again cross Hailey's.

    Hailey now is responsible for her niece. She is the only family Skye has left in this world. After the trauma of losing her parents, Skye does not even speak to anyone. Leading a normal life is all that Hailey wants for her, therefore, she has tailored her life to providing a safe and nurturing environment for Skye.

    This is one of my favorite books by this author. I love this Westerly family with all their complications, twists, and turns. Delinda as the matriarch of the family rules with an iron hand. As the series progresses, she learns to soften her grip and understand her grandchildren better.

    If you are a Ruth Cardello fan, you will not be disappointed. If you have never read her books, what are you waiting for? I highly recommend this book and the series.
