    Vengeance. Oh mmm gee! I have read everything Sloane has written and I love all of her work. I honestly think Mav and Eli from Forsaken will always be my absolute favorite couple but it is so very hard to decide which couple is my favorite as they are all so wonderfully developed and all have their own little things that just grab your heart and squeeze! Vengeance is the story about Memphis, Brennan, and Tristian. We meet Brennan in Freeing Zane as he is Zane’s much younger, half-brother. Tristian is the adopted son of Dom and Logan Barretti, and Memphis works for Ronan, but has started taking over the organization after Ronan and Seth got together. Brennan has had a thing for his childhood friend Tristian for a long time but he believes Tristian is straight. Memphis first saw/met Brennan in Forsaken, when he was asked to watch out for Eli. And he absolutely could not get Brennan out of his mind. He is determined to fight his attraction but in the end, he succumbs and starts a “relationship” with Brennan. Although he is determined it won’t be a relationship as he’s been there, done that, not going back! But then Brennan’s friend, Tristian is in trouble and Brennan takes him to Memphis to ask for help. As we know, this book is M/M/M, so you know it is between all three, Memphis, Brennan, and Tristan. There are many bumps and twists and turns in this story. There is a trigger warning at the beginning of the book. READ IT and if that is going to bother you, don’t read the book. This book had me laughing, had me frustrated, had me bawling (and we are talking ugly bawling, not just a few tears). This, this range of emotions that Sloane is able to pull from me is what I consider to make her an amazing author. She is able to grab your attention in the first page and keep it until the very last and leave you wanting more of the story. The stories are complete but they make you want to continue the stories, you want to know, “what’s next for our guys?” She pulls at your heartstrings with her characters and with each book she is able to leave a little piece of her characters in your heart. She writes of broken and damaged men. But in no way are they weak! They are strong and resilient and are able to put a little bit of themselves on the line in order to take just one more chance to see if this time is it. Is this the time that they find their happily ever after? There is no fluff to this story, unless you are referring to Princess Tinkerbella. It is raw and emotional and it is absolutely amazing.
    Atonement is the next book in the series, and we are given a little glimpse of it at the end of Vengeance. I am so looking forward to Magnus and Dante’s story. I really, really hope that Magnus takes Dante’s cockiness and straightens it out! That story has the possibilities of being quite explosive!
    Although I was given an ARC in exchange for a review, I also purchased this book. I absolutely love Sloane’s books and it was well worth the cost of a Starbuck’s Latte!

    Ok I’m loving all of these interconnected books. But this one is had me itchy for a minute. I love the ménage relationship BUT I truly did feel like this one was more sectioned off. I really felt like Brennan got the short end of the stick. I mean yeah, Brennan and Memphis hooked up first but I felt like They weren’t all equal. Memphis felt more comfortable talking to Tristan than he did Brennan, who had been loving him for weeks before that. I felt like Tristan got to have a big moment and was taken care of by both of them. Then Memphis had his big moment and he was taken care of. But I kind of felt like Brennan was an afterthought. And then at the end when Memphis came home a week earlier and spent the whole week with Tristan, “forming a plan”, and told him all about his life, all the things he wouldn’t tell Brennan. He told Tristan he loved him first even though Brennan told him so long ago. I just felt like Brennan ended up being the odd man out. Kind of. It was a great story though!! I can’t wait to keep reading!

    The fact that humans are capable of some of these things are astounding to me. But I'm glad that there are people that do what they do in this series. It make their world just a little bit better. This is story of fiction, so in context of this series. Amazing series, I definitely suggest this series as a great read. Just understand that there are strong subject matters and you should read at your own discretion. But amazing series, I'm onto the next in the series. And by the way, I've read this series several times already and it never gets old. The stories are heavy, but the writing is finamimal, and you can't put the books down even if you tried. So happy reading.

    I am so damn happy at the way this hea turned out but it broke my heart a million times. Memphis…. Oh sweet sweet Memphis. I’m not sure any of the other characters deserved their happy ending as much as he did. Watching him heal little by little was cathartic.

    I never cried for characters in an book that much as I did for Brennan, Tristan and Memphis.
    Not only were they - each in his own way - hurt and threatened by life before they even met...No, their way to each other is paved with obstacles, missunderstanding & suppressed feelings.
    And when they finally come together the true catastrophy is just yet to happen.
    Oh I was so rooting for these three men. I was devastatingly crying throughout several parts of the second half of the book - for example when Memphis finally told his story; even more when the unthinkable happened and with relief when finally the HEA was in sight.
    I love the crossover of the different series of Sloane Kennedy.
    And "Vengeance" is one of my absolute favorite Protectors-Stories.
    Caution: It is a really powerful, heartwarming, thrilling M/M/M-Lovestory but be aware of several triggering themes in this book. It's a really tough story to read. Not for highly sensitive readers.

    This one centres around Memphis and Brennan the young man that was shot when he was mistaken for Eli in the last book. Memphis was the one that helped save him. The only problem, Brennan is in love with Tristan.

    Can a relationship work between them when Memphis feels like the odd man out?

    There's lots of M/M/M loving and lots of danger when an ex-flame makes an unexpected appearance.

    I really wish I had the talent and the gift to be able to give a review worthy of Vengeance (book 5 in The Protectors series).
    This was one of those amazing books that once you start you simply cannot put it down. While I was desperate to get to the end to see what happened, I was also trying to make the book last as I didn't want it to finish and have to say goodbye to these amazing characters. Sloane writes in such a beautiful way that shows both the best and the worst of her characters.
    I adored the characters of Memphis, Tristan and Brennan. I felt that they were well developed and ultimately lead to you really enjoying reading about the development and change in their relationship. I like how this book explored the experience from all three perspectives. It felt like their relationship although raw was sincere and believable.
    From the very first page I was drawn into the world of Memphis, Tristan and Brennan and I really didn't want to leave it. When a book gets your heart pounding and your eyes race across the page to try and read as much as possible then you know you've picked a winner
    This book took me, the reader through a myriad of emotions. I was happy, sad and heartbroken for the characters. Their emotions were so real. The love scenes between all three of them were scorching....hot, hot, hot.
    I really enjoyed this story. The relationship between the three men was one of the best and most intense I've read in an mmm book. The story wasn't just about sex (although there were definitely some steamy scenes in there) but was about if and how the trio could make a relationship work against the odds that were dealt to them. This is definitely a book I will reread.
    Congratulations Ms Kennedy on another perfect book in your Protectors series.

    I've read quite a few MMM and even this series started off with a three-way pairing that had me looking forward to reading more. And while the 1st book with that kinda setting was perfect and I never felt the paring was unbalanced in any way, I can't say that about Brennan, Memphis & Tristan.
    The 1st paring is between Brennan and Memphis and I felt their scorching chemistry and it kept the pages turning. I was excited to see how Tristan was going to get in the dynamic but I think it fell short. I felt Tristan was a good character but none of his connections with the other two felt organic. And it's never a good sign when I start wanting to read more about Brennan and Memphis moments rather than the threesome.
    I know with a three way pairing you need space and time to establish them and so naturally the book would be long but this one felt more than necessary.
    I saw no point in what happened to Brennan toward the end.
    Just a little off from the others but ill still continue reading this series about beautiful vulnerable men and their HEA.
