    This book was truly a thing of beauty. Sometimes in books, my mind has to fill in the gaps, I have to help create the character I'm seeing as I read the books, the places they're in, the world through their eyes. Not a single moment did I have to do any of that in this book. I could see the square and the shops, I could see into the Tattoo parlor window from where Rhys sang, I could see the pier and all its games, food stalls, the people laughing all around, and I could see the playroom with its boxes full of Simon's hopes and dreams begging to be let out the moment Rhys and Mr. Ted laid down to rest the first night HOME.

    I could see Simon's beautiful red hair in a bun, with the stray curl falling out of its tie from time to time. I could see the look on Simon's face the first time he saw the bear beanie and the look on Rhys' face at the same time. I could feel the fears, hope, and love in every single page. I read somewhere that this was a debut book for you, and if that's the case, stunning. I cannot wait to see more (Except I'm shit at waiting so January is gonna be rough 🥺). I truly hope Cal and Mouse get a book or 2.. and our sweet but grumpy doctor finds his happiness that he so sorely needs to believe is out there (though the sandwich board sign might give him a coronary before that happens if the wind picks up again 🤣🤣)

    I dont truly give 5 ⭐️ rating often.. but this was truly a 5 ⭐️ read and one of the best I've read this year. And this was my 202nd book since 1/1/23. You, my dear, have just become one of my instant buy authors. 🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶

    This story had my heart melting - I have a soft spot for sweet Daddy / little stories with lots of hurt / comfort in them, and this one hit exactly right for me!

    Rhys was such an adorable character and I loved seeing him finding safety and comfort in his Daddy Simon. There was so much sweetness and tenderness in their story and I loved to see Rhys starting to heal and thrive under Simon's care. I really liked the way their relationship developed, and while things moved pretty quickly between them, it never felt rushed.

    It was a very cute and swoony story, that never felt too heavy despite the trauma and abuse that Rhys had experienced. Simon was amazing with him and I loved how the hurt / comfort was written here. I just thought it was incredible sweet how Rhys was welcomed and found his place in this small town, and there were also some great side characters that I hope to see more of in the future.

    I really enjoyed this story and I definitely recommend giving it a chance if you like Daddy kink with age play and hurt / comfort!

    Okay let’s start off with the kinks.

    So there’s a BRIEF scene with putting on a diaper after trauma just so he wouldn’t wet the bed. So people who don’t like them beware.

    It lasted like a page maybe not even.
    There is regressing and there is hints of a sub space. I liked the description of it. There are PACIS, Bobbies, or pops whatever you like to call them. (Me personally, paci, ain’t no sweat in my game)

    The book was just exploring themselves and each other slowly but with some desperation or urgency.

    Rhys exploring this relationship was cute and cautious at first but you could definitely see him open up and it was just wonderful.
    Simon is just a Daddy. Like iykyk (best way to describe it.) He gives me pleasure dom daddy vibes but nothing rougher than a spanking.

    HINTS of things not seen but spoken about in the book.
    Versatile couple (GOODNESS I HOPE SO IN THE NEXT BOOK)
    Some D/S (I really want Rhys to be comfortable in sub space)
    Rope play (UGH I WAS SO HOPING TO SEE SOME)
    More deep age regressing play (honestly I want to see more. They had me at pacis)

    This was the best of the best when it comes to daddydom romance in my opinion. Super sweet, very heartfelt, amazing group of characters, some found family, some very spicy scenes and just all the feels! The two MCs were fabulous and I loved the supporting characters. I'm hoping we get to see everyones HEAs eventually. The only thing that would've been even better would be to see more interactions between the MCs and the other characters, just to get more about their sweet interactions and the found family vibes, but overall this was super well written and a great read

    For a new to me writer, they got my attention with the blurb.

    Spoilers ahead

    First off, this is not a fluffy Daddy/boy story as it has some really dark things happening in it. Homophobic attacks and psychological issues resulting from that is shown through out the story. I mean the first chapter is Rhys' father destroying a laptop because he was looking at gay little porn.

    In here we have Rhys, a young guy who runs away from his homophobic home life. He sings for spare cash in the park. He is homeless. Simon, the Daddy, gives him cash and wants to save him.

    They eventually get together after something bad happens. I love age play and I thought it was done well here.

    This one could have been edited a bit. It was not bad enough to make me stop reading, but it was obvious.

    This is my second time around for this series! Such a beautifully written emotional storyline. Some angsty moments as Rhys past comes back to haunt him but luckily things work out. Just love the daddy/ boy trope which although there are not many scenes the emotional element is covered perfectly.

    This was such a sweet read. It had me crying and laughing, and squirming from the sweetness (and other things). It’s about a man who never had a childhood finding a man who can give him what he missed out on. It’s about not being afraid to be true to oneself, and opening one’s heart to possibilities and love.

    Rhys is a sweet boy with a big heart who just needs love. Simon is a big ol’ marshmallow looking for someone to dote on. Together they are what the other needs and they pull everyone together in their orbit, making for a big happy family.

    If you’re looking for a sweet, slight angst, age-play MM book then this is the book for you.

    Aw man, I really do love me a tender Daddy/little romance every once in a while. 🫠 It was such a lovely story; with Simon, a big, tatted bear of a Daddy and Rhys, a sweet virgin boy as the main characters. Gawd they were perfect for each other.

    The plot of the story, besides the age-play and kink, and the characters themselves weren’t as much explored as I’d hoped, but overall I think the author did well with her debut here and I’m looking forward to more books in this series, esp. as I liked the side characters and prospects of future couples very much.
