He selected a track, prayed it was the right one, and set foot on the path of honor, because even at such a young age, he knew honor mattered.

Almost immediately things started looking up in his life. The Army molded him into a soldier, giving him no choice but to excel. Through years of service, the men in his unit forced him to become a leader, moving him to that role by demonstrating with every action that they believed he was trustworthy. Brothers in arms.

That was when death and destruction once again rocked his world, forcing another impossible choice. Pierced through with a thirst for vengeance, raging and alone, he gravitated towards the kind of men who shared his feelings. Hard men, but ones filled with an unshakable sense of honor. Members of a motorcycle club who were not afraid to wreak devastation in support of the found family they shared. The Outriders MC. Brothers in spirit.

To escape the ghosts haunting them both, his older brother had launched his own club, filled with veterans and soldiers. His brother’s stories about his members set up a longing deep inside him, and Mike found himself reaching towards the forgiveness and peace his brother had found. But, in an atmosphere drowning in blood and hate, peace was hard to find. Determined to start fresh, it wasn’t long before Mike, now known as Watcher, followed his brother west, finding a true home as a Southern Soldiers. Brothers in truth.

Then, on what should have been a routine run into Old Mexico, Watcher was confronted by both loss and hope. He saved a doe-eyed beauty from a life branded by pain, but in turn lost the last close link to his family. In her it seemed he found a reason for carrying on, even perhaps a chance at love. As he rebuilt his life, he vowed to keep her safe and the club strong, promising to protect everything that mattered. Brothers. Family. Honor. To do that, Watcher would need to open long-tattered connections to Kentucky, reaching far into his pain-filled past and calling on Davis Mason and the Rebel Wayfarers MC.

    Up until reading Watcher, Mason was my favorite MC guy. Now; I'm not so sure anymore. I adored the character 'Watcher'. What a tough life growing up; so many horrible things happening in his young life yet he manages to keep his head on straight and focus on what is important - his young sister, so sweetly dear to him. I liked him from page one!

    He has quite a journey before becoming an MC President, and what an MC president he ends up being. A wonderful husband to Juanita. A father to one natural daughter and a 'daughter of his heart'. So many sad things happen to him and yet he keeps his head up and his focus strong. I loved Juanita, too. What a loving partner for such a good man.

    The characters: fantastic. We got more of Mason and Willa. Mason with his young son: beautifully written. We get many many GREAT characters along with BONES who I believe will have his own story told, soon. Can't wait, but the anticipation will be delicious indeed.

    What I'm left with after reading WATCHER is that he is a man of honor, family, strength, character, and love. He'd give his life for a brother, his wife, daughters.....a good man is WATCHER. I'm sad that I'm done reading it and definitely will be rereading it again, and again.

    MariaLisa deMora keeps adding to this series and someday rereading the whole thing will be a treat and a pleasure. The writing is GREAT. Nothing is missed; full emotions can be read and felt. MariaLisa deMora is in my top 10 FAVORITE writers. She's that good. Highly recommended.

    As always DeMora does not let us down.

    Any fan of her RWMC series knows who Watcher is. We've all been curious for his story. Every character created in her mind is worthy of a story. I've a list of them that I would LOVE to see put on paper.

    Without giving spoilers, because those are no fun, Watcher gives us highs and lows, heartbreak and happiness, excitement and danger. He's seemed to have lived a thousand lives in one book. I had questions going in I wanted answered and I got those but like every book before we come away with even more questions which leaves us begging for the next Rebel book. And I'm not kidding, I've literally begged for the next book, every single time.

    Main characters are richly developed and you love them, trust me. Secondary characters are just as important and play huge roles that we haven't figured out, yet. The bad guys are just that - bad guys. And you hate them... Every moment spent seeing their names makes you curse at your screen and demand their deaths.

    Aptly named Watcher spends a majority of his life watching out for others, his family, his friends, his brothers in arms and his patch brothers. Every moment leads up to... Well you'll just have to read it to find out. You won't regret it, I promise.

    And isn't it just like DeMora to give her main male lead a strong, vibrant and resilient woman to love and lean on? Juanita is a phenomenal match to Watcher and his dedication to those he loves and calls friend and family.

    Every time I write a review I wish for more than a 5 star options, this is no different and Watcher is no less worthy of 5+ stars.

    Best book of the series!! Watcher's story Is powerful, intense, heartbreaking along with so much love and caring for his family. I started crying from the beginning of the book to sobbing at the end.
    For me this book gives the reader so much detail, a bit of their past history to bring us up to date and for me a look into future books to come (I hope).
    Loved, loved, loved the chapter on Mason and Willa. This author is the best at involving the characters. When a reader is invested in a series such as this one it is nice to be kept in the loop about what is going on.
    Watcher's story has affected me so much more than any of the other books. Even a I write this review I am crying at the memories.
    One of the very best books I have read this year.
    Be prepared for an emotional read!

    I love this series. But Watcher has from the beginning had a special place in my heart. You could feel through MariaLisa's writing that he has struggled. I'm not ashamed to admit that i cried and held my breath. I even got mad which goes to show how talented the author really is. I hate having favorites in a series but after reading this book it's hard not to.
