I’m a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse series and the other linked series that were derived from it. So it’s not surprise that when I read the title of this book, Wicked Wedding, my brain automatically screamed ‘WICKED HORSE SERIES!!!!’ yeah. Not so much. But you know what? I didn’t mind at all that it wasn’t. why? Because there was some trace of the series in this book and at the same time, it opened the door for me to want to read another type of series by this author. This book was short, sweet, adorable and fun. So why no 5 star rating? Because after a while, I couldn’t handle Brynne’s contant lamants about the fact that her ex, who really, was a douche canoe, had gone and done a threesome. Let’s make it clear – this woman wasn’t as hurt that he cheated, but couldn’t get over the fact that he’d do a threesome. So the constant reminder got on my nerves, especially when I realized that Andrew had to hide specific things about himself because he didn`t want to lose Brynne. In some ways, that was angering. And in others, I got it. I did understand why he did it. Why Brynne couldn’t get over her hold ups. This was a well-developed story that gave me the fuzzy happy feelings, and for sure I can’t wait for more from this author in the future. *ARC provided by Author in exchange for an honest review.     The runaway bride aspect of this story caught my interest first, but I am not a huge fan of insta-love so I approached with caution. Given that Sawyer Bennett wrote this story, I should have known better than to worry! I loved how naturally Andrew and Brynne clicked from the first moment they met.

    I will admit it took me a minute to remember why I knew Andrew's name, but as soon as I started the first chapter it all came rushing back to me from Wicked Envy! He definitely needed to find his own HEA and Wicked Wedding is a wonderful way to get him there.

    Brynne has been betrayed in a horrible way by her fiance and her supposed best friend, and Andrew comes along at just the right time to help her make her escape from the hurt and drama. Vegas is a great town to escape reality, so when Andrew comes up with a plan to see that Brynne's dream dress doesn't go to waste while allowing them to have a whole lot of hot fun -albeit temporarily- she lets her adventurous streak come through to agree to his plan.

    When morning arrives, they follow the plan but decide to keep in touch. Neither expected to enjoy the other's company so much, but Brynne has to go back to California to try to sort out her life and Drew has to leave for a business trip. Fortunately he is extremely wealthy so a little thing like long distance is not a huge problem in terms of seeing each other again. UNfortunately Brynne has a pretty close minded view of threesomes and sex clubs- so while he has no desire to introduce her to that part of his past, he struggles with whether he should tell her about it. Of course that decision will eventually resolve itself and leads to a bit of emotional upheaval!

    Overall I thoroughly enjoyed Wicked Wedding. Ms. Bennett brings us a great combination of heat and humor as Drew and Brynne fall in love, and she does it in a way that does not feel like insta-love despite the time frame in which they get to know each other. I loved seeing more of Avril and Dane from Wicked Envy too, but if you have not read that story, you can absolutely read this book as a standalone so don't hesitate to dive in!

    Loved the book overall. Very well written but I didnt care for Avril or how she was so heavily invested in their relationship where she should be focused on her marriage and the whole Bryann needs to grovel to Drew? No he lied and she saw a video that would mess anyone up even if they were ok with threesomes- being lied to and seeing it in the act unwillingly is a huge violation and betrayal. I so wish she would have told Avril off.

    I've been a fan of the Wicked Horse series for some time, so I was excited when I learned we would be getting the story of Andrew "Drew" Collings, who we met in Wicked Envy. His story was definitely worth the wait. And, even though this book can be read as a standalone, you may find it more enjoyable if you've read Wicked Envy first as there are things from that book that are referenced.

    Drew has just left the wedding reception of his best friends, and business partners, Dane and Avril. On his way back to his condo, he finds a beautiful, yet steaming mad, woman walking along the side of the road in none other than a wedding dress. He pulls over to see if he can help.

    Brynne Adams has every right to be mad. She was supposed to get married, but just before the ceremony she found out her fiance was cheating not only with the maid of honor, but the best man as well. She was having none of that, so hitchhiking it was.

    When Drew and Brynne spend time together, Drew decides to give Brynne what she has wanted all her life - the wedding of her dreams. While the plan is to get married and then immediately get it annulled 20 days later, things in life generally go the way you plan.

    Drew and Brynne begin to genuinely fall for one another and while their relationship is not without bumps in the road, the biggest comes when Brynne discovers a secret from Drew's past. Will they be able to get past the omission that Drew has knowingly made?

    I really enjoyed how this relationship unfolded and how these two characters fit together. They really just seemed to "get" one another. I also was happy that we got to visit with Dane and Avril again as well. This was a fun, sexy read and one that I would highly recommend!

    This book continues the story of the last whv and the characters in it. It’s Andrews story this time and if you read the blurb you know what to expect. And since this is a wicked horse book you should also know it contains a lot of steamy graphic hotness. I didn’t like that Brynne had to grovel when Andrew was dishonest and tried to hide something that he wasn’t embarrassed about. I think most women would be shocked to see a video of the guy you’re in love and his best friends together together in a sexclub. I just didn’t like this story or the way it ended. 2.5 stars

    Wicked Wedding is the 4th book in the ‘Left at the Altar’ series all written by different authors. I’ve read them all and enjoyed them all for different reasons... however I have not read the ‘Wicked Horse’ series so this was new to me. Sawyer Bennett (a favourite author of mine) took this story and made it a fantastic 2nd chance love story.

    Andrew (Drew) Collings has had all types of relationships and after stopping his 3-way sexual connection with his best friends he’d given up on his happily ever after. Leaving his best friends wedding (still in his tux mind you) he is driving down the highway when he spots a runaway bride walking down the side of the road he can’t help but stop.

    Brynne was all set to walk down the aisle when she spots her maid of honours phone and a most unexpected text of her with her fiancée and best man cheating... she literally dashes out of the church and heads for the highway... when Andrew picks her up she just wants to get out of there and put that image out of her mind...

    They connect immediately and spend the evening drinking and talking and make a fun night of it - he’s in a tux, she’s in a wedding gown they decide to get married anyway - they’re in Vegas after all!!

    Andrew and Brynne had a whirl wind start, although they didn’t know each other for long they had a connection that lead to both of them deciding to continue their relationship, despite the impending annulment and the distance (she’s from San Diego).

    I really enjoyed it, the dual POV’s gave me insight into both their thinking... I just loved it...

    Love this series and this couple!! I love seeing Andrew find his HEA with Brynne!! When Andrew picks up Brynne off the side of the road hitchhiking in a wedding dress, it did not take him long to realize that Brynne was his soul mate!! This couple has a misunderstanding that tear them apart but I love that love wins out in the end!! Definitely a must read book!!

    Loved the storyline and the characters in this book.
    Absolutely adored Brynne and Andrew. The story had me enthralled from start to finish. I didn't expect this story to be so gripping for me. Once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down.
    Got a bit nervous towards the end because I wasn't sure if Drew and Brynne would find their way back to each other but so, so glad they did.

    If you have read Wicked Envy, you have already met our leading man Andrew/Drew

    After being part of a threesome relationship with is two best friends, he took a step back when Dane and Avril fell in love, remember?

    Well, Drew finds his own bride - in the most unusual of ways. However right from the get go you can't help but adore Drew and Brynne.

    Their instawedding was a joke, but their feelings aren't and I adored watching them fall in love.

    I can't wait for what Ms Bennett brings us next.
