Winter's End: An MM Paranormal Shifter Mpreg Romance (Angel Hills Pack Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 125 ratings

The third and final book of the Angel Hills series, Winter’s End follows characters introduced in the first two books. This series must be read in order for complete understanding and enjoyment. However, reading the River Wolf Pack or Cascade Cities series is not required.
Dangerous and debilitating illnesses among the omegas of Angel Hills Pack cause concern for pack alpha Grey and his long-time beta mate, Ian. Grey must decide if he’s willing to let their omega mate, Gabriel, take the antidote offered by the human doctors in Cascade City or risk never allowing the omega to reproduce again. Meanwhile, Duncan’s relationship with Canaan confuses him; Roanan struggles with a new mate and three teens, one of them an omega; and two new omegas arrive from the city.
Contains A/B/O wolf shifter dynamics and m-preg.

I loved all the characters. It did take a minute to get use to as the storyline of the shifter world is a bit different from other shifter stories.

I love how Rebecca James wrote this series, and I could NOT put these books down. There are so many characters to fall in love with, and each one's story shows the growth they go through to form an intriguing world.

This was a great read I really enjoyed this book . A lot of loose ends came together this was full of heart warming moment . I got teary eyed a few times I would definitely recommend this series and the River Pack Series . Now on too cascade city .

I think that was a good closure to this series. It answered some of my questions and brought in new ones which I think will be answered in the Cascade City series. All the characters had their hea and that makes me happy as well. As expected with Rebecca James, this was a wonderful series.

Almost gave it three stars because we still don’t know the answer to the government conspiracy. This series is partially concurrent with the Cascade City series, but to get the conclusion you need to read the Cascade City trilogy. If I was Grey, I could never look at Finny without thinking of my mates’ duplicitous natures.

I’ve always loved this shifter world that Rebecca James has created and I’m hoping that this isn’t the last we hear about these characters. Crossed fingers for more.

Sadly this is the final book in the “Angel Hills Pack” Series & I would suggest reading the books in sequence to fully understand the underlying story-line & plot. The characters are interesting with fairly good chemistry between them but at times there is some emotional turmoil and/or anguish. In particular, I liked how the various characters continued to develop throughout the story-line. The plot is intriguing with some unexpected situation/events.
There is: wolf shifters, pack dynamics, alphas, betas, omegas, new arrivals, triad relationships, couples, medical issues, antidotes, drama, twists & turns, intrigue, some suspense, attractions, disagreements, devastating memories, complications, compromises, love, contentment, some steam & a satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed reading this series & would recommend it to people who like to read interesting Mpreg shifter genres.

I could not be happier with the way this ended. There have been so many things that have just went wrong throughout all the packs and it’s good to finally see things taking a turn for the better. It doesn’t mean there are bad moments. There’s one in particular that breaks my heart. But things are definitely getting better and the pack is thriving once again.
This story is told from several different perspectives and I’ve loved that from the beginning. Because I love to see how everyone feels. Not just one person. Especially with a pack this big and so many different opinions. Things haven’t been great for some. And they’ve finally started learning the reasons why. The humans have been messing with them in more than just a few things. And because of it, many have suffered. But thanks to the work from River and his pack working with some of the humans, they are now finding ways to cure some of the effects of what was done to certain shifters. And because of it, things are changing. Some things are easy changes, some are not. It’s hard to accept growing up and it’s hard to accept that maybe what you’ve really wanted all along has been in front of you all along. For almost everyone in the pack, something new has come along, and whether for good or bad, growing up and changes are here.
I loved this story on so many different levels. For one, it was good to see Canaan growing up and realizing his mistakes in things. It was sad that he had to finally come to terms with his loss in it but because of it, he’s finally got a surprise or two in store for him. Grey, Ian, and Gabe have been miserable because of a decision they had to come to with Gabe’s heats, but thanks to the new meds, things are changing for them, and in more ways than one. Something they thought would never happened, has finally happened and they are ecstatic. Ian’s brother, Roanan, has got a new omega, which no one ever thought they’d see again, and life in that household has just gotten more interesting as well. I’m not saying any of this to give stuff away. Please don’t think that. But these are just a few of the shifters who have went through some horrors at things going on and it’s been so wonderful to see things turning around finally. It’s been shocking in some ways too, because of the things no one had ever thought to see. But it’s what has made this story so beautiful. They’ve taken the unexpected and because of it, they’ve grown and becoming the pack they’ve missed being.
I really could not be more happier at the ending of this. I know there’s more to come and I can’t wait to see how things go from here.
