Outlaw: Wolves of Royal Paynes Kindle Edition
Diesel didn’t only lose his pack in the hellfire explosion that turned the people he loved into ash, he lost his future omega as well. The only human among them, Quinlan had joined their pack as a child and through the years Diesel was his constant companion, protector, and best friend. Because of the difference in their ages, Diesel insisted they waited until Quinlan was a little older, until the gap between their years didn’t matter quite so much before he claimed Quinlan truly.
He never got the chance.
Now, Diesel has watched his pack mates find their omegas knowing he’ll never have what his brothers have. He’ll never hold his omega, never kiss or tease him just to see the blush color his cheeks. He had his treasure, and failed to protect him. Quinlan was everything that was good in the world and trying to live without him is like trying to live without a heart. But Diesel is still an alpha, still partly responsible for the fragile—yet flourishing—pack that has assembled around them, despite the alpha team’s best efforts to cling to the past and care only about revenge.
When an old face becomes a new enemy, Diesel and his alpha team are once again racing to save everything they hold dear. Betrayed by someone they’d once called leader, the Royal Paynes pack has never been in more danger. Portal wants nephilim blood to open a gate to hell and there won’t be puppies and kittens waiting on the other side. Before the pack can figure out how to hold hell back, the alphas must deal with the traitor once and for all—and face the terrifying weapon he possesses. A weapon that has the power to change everything.
Good vs. evil. Heaven vs. hell. Diesel already failed to save his pack once, and now, he’s expected to save the world?

- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2020What a stunning conclusion to the Wolves of Royal Paynes! I love this series. My old friends welcomed me back into their lives. Walker County wolves make an appearance. To top it off, this book has danger, a demon brother, a traitor, a fight to close the gate to Hell, loyalty, patience, another fashion show, and babies. Ooh, did I mention a mate, long thought dead, is rescued? The action never ceases, the sex is hot. What's not to love!
When the Alphas raid a house belonging to the traitor Pierce, the last thing they expect to find is Quinlan. Diesel's mate died in the hellfire that destroyed their village. Or so everyone believed. As Diesel & Quinlan reunite, the danger increases. Along the way to HEA, blood will be spilt, Quin will meet his demon half- brother, and it will take him and all the nephilim and their alphas to bring this book to a heart- stopping conclusion. You will love this book!
This is the last book in this series. Do yourself a favor and read the other books in order. Reading the Wolves of Walker County isn't a bad idea either.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2022The characters were enjoyable you really get invested in them and their relationships. Glad that this is a series because I get to indulge in this fantastic story.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2020Diesel was resolved to be along for the rest of his life. Then the team went on a mission, to rescue more half/angels, when they came across Quinlan, his dead love. Quinlan had changed from the young man Diesel had known several years ago. His mind had been changed by Pierce their former leader. It took time and patience to make him understand that what he was brainwashed into believing wasn't true. I loved the extra characters they made the story. Now the demon kings need their story. Love this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2020I had a lot of fun reading this book! It was really entertaining and also heartwarming to see the story develop between our heroes. The story was amazing and super funny with a lot of entertaining plot twists that made everything really enjoyable. Great job author!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2020Well the wait is over book 4 in the Wolves of Royal Paynes Outlaw is here. We finally get Diesels story, he has been the strong silent protector of this pack, always there to help save the day but never getting his HEA till now. In the 1st book we learned of Diesel's pain caused by the loss of his mate Quinlan, in this book we learn what happened to Quinlan and how Diesel is reunited with his mate. This book seemed a little rushed compared to the 1st 3 books, less world building or character introductions, but the love between Diesel & Quinlan, and what they have to go through to get their HEA was fantastic. The world of Wolves that Kiki Burrelli has created with these series is fantastic so I for one can't wait for the next one to began.
I Received this ARC for an honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2020I loved it! Learning about Quinlan and Diesel's beginnings and finding out he's alive all wonderful! The enemies were scary but not impossible. Is it wrong to admit I love Claus? If it is ignor that part! Lol
I did find some of the reminiscing unnecessary drawn out, but not TOO annoying .
As the ending to this series it's wonderful and I hope she plans to write more in this world! After all there's still Badger's clan...
- Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2020The Author appears to have lost interest in giving a beautiful finish to her Series. As soon as the Reader starts this book there is no world building, no introduction of characters or settings. Who is Who? Are there People, Ghosts, Animals, Invisible Beings, Pets, Shifters, Nephilim, Archangels, etc.? What are their names? Who are the good and bad guys? Could the Author at least introduce Us to the Pack Members? Readers of the Series would perhaps agree with me that a simple rundown of the core group initially would at least help - and saying their names and hair color isn't what is needed before this Mission crashes into the next nephilim.
Unlike the last three books you get the feeling this is just window dressing for the Author to write sex scenes. Not even good sex scenes as the power balance is 90/10 with the sub begging his Dom for a sexual relationship and the Dom getting his needs met in every way since the sub was a child except for sexual; even the delay was and is enjoyable for the Dom who still gets off on not explaining his refusal to even the playing field. Ultimately it is the other Alphas judgemental opinions which force this Dom's hand and the sub spends the rest of the book written as childishly happy that he now has the sexual interest of his partner.
It's honestly just awful. The book. The Author has good ideas but her ability to lace them into a coherent story just are not there. I could go on but I do not feel there is any worth in doing so. The 3 🌠 is out of appreciation for the Author's past works. 👎👎
- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2023I'm so sad that this series is over!!!! I loved every moment of each book!!!! Kinda hoping we can see some appearances in other stories!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
I loved this book definitely a rollercoaster. If you haven't read the other books you need to read them . Though each story is about a different couple in the pack they each link together. Where I hadn't read the others for a while I still got confused and had to refresh of the plot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Changing for better or worse
An excellent ending to this sexy action packed series! As Portal's endgame grows ever closer, threatening the nephilim and the rest of the world, the pack discover the final nephilim to make their lack complete. It leaves the pack uncertain as Quinlan was thought to be dead, much like Pierce, and they try configure out his role. Then a twist to Quinlan's own origin brings up even more questions and a fair amount of chaos.
Ever since Pierce came back it has been a constant question of Quinlan would as well. Almost immediately on this book he does, but it is clear his life away from the pack has been hellish. Wild and violent with anger and fear at his previous alphas, Quinlan has to relearn what it is to trust and be a part of a pack. Meanwhile Diesel is overjoyed to have him back but torn to be a source of such fear for his love. It is a trial for them to find each other as the trust that the previous pairings have was intentionally shattered. At the same time to threat to them is only growing, with more attacks directly at the pack, as they try to stop Portal's plans.
A really fun, fascinating, and super sexy story series, this was an enjoyable read from start to finish!

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG!!! Final installment in the series!
At last, the final book on this amazing series Is here and I couldn't wait to read It. I enjoyed a lot the captivating plot that developed beautifully since book 1 with everything falling into place and that now reached its unexpected end. I don't want to say too much to avoid spoilers so I just going to recommend you first to read the previous books before this one to fully enjoy and understand the complex situations and interactions between characters and second, free up time to read It because the book trapped me since the beginning and I couldn't stop reading it until the very last page. I hope the author will consider to revisit this world in a future with a nice spinoff, more books or even short stories featuring some happy moments between the characters. Loved the series and loved how the story finished. Simply wonderful!
