- Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2021This is the story of Yuki and Dylan. Dylan Jameson is young gorgeous, wealthy, with blonde hair and blue eyes and wanted Yuki. Yuki is a 26 soon to be 27 year old woman ♀️. She is the product of a young Korean woman. Her mother was 18 years old when she met and fell in love with Cleo Jameson. She was disowned by her family because they felt she disgraced them. Yuki and her mother were brought to the States by her father and came to visit them whenever he could because he had a family in Austin with Momma Smith. She lost both her parents by the time she was six years old. Her father was a career Army man. He was an officer in the military. He died in a freak accident and her mother died shortly after. Momma Smith and Asher her brother took her in and kept her from going to foster care system. So Yuki Smith and Asher and Dylan her brother's best friend all grew up together and this is the story of how Yuki and Dylan find each other. It was a good story with wonderful characters.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2022Dylan is captivated with Yuki but she has commitment issues and is afraid of a relationship. This story drew me in and had me all caught up in it. I loved Dylan and was cheering for him and Yuki to get a happily ever after. This book ended too soon for me!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2018This was an ok story. Very mild characters. I'd call this book "sweet". Not enough drama for me....sorry. But if real another book from this author
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2018This is an amazing book by Ja'Nese Dixon,,,, you have to read this,,,,,
This is the story of 27 y/o Yuki Smith,,,, she is the daughter of a Black man named Cleo, he had a career in the military and an officer in the army,,, her mother was an 18y/o Korean named Sun-young Lee that her father "married"and they had one child... at the same time, in the US, her father was already married and had a son named Asher, he was Yuki's age, just a couple weeks apart,,, her father died of a freak accident, and that killed her mother not long after,,,, Asher's mom, Yuki calls Momma adopted and raised Yuki, and at that time she started raising Yuki and Asher as twins,,, and one person always around them all the time Dylan Jameson,,, Yuki will be 27 at the same time she should be promoted from Vice Pres to Partner of the company, BrandShare,,, At the same time, het brother and Dylan shall be opening their company of Smith & Jameson, or as Yuki likes to put it S & J, it will be an International Beer Garden and Eatery ,,,,her brother, Asher is married to Jasmine, aka Jazz ,,,,
Dylan Jameson has always been around the Smith twins,,, Dylan and Asher use to pay for camps for Yuki to attend from the just money they used to have to give her to stay quiet about things they didn't want Momma to know about,,, Dylan has always been a player and Yuki always dreamed of being Dylan's girl,,,, and as years went on all the kids did things together and now that Asher is married to Jazz, Dylan and Yuki have been secretly flirting with each other,,,
So,,, what do you think will happen,,, do you realkky this that Yuki will fall for Dylan's crap after all these years,,,???,,, and what will it take for Asher to help out his marriage,,,, Asher is scheduled to go with Dylan to Ireland to talk about winning over Import Brew to have their beer be part of S & J's Internation Beer Garden ,,,,
So, come on along and be part of Yuki's world for awhile,,,, you won't be disappointed,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,
I got this ARC voluntarily to write an honest review,,,,,,,,,
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2022I loved Dylan and Yuki's love story, but for me the story ended too soon I was so disappointed when I turned the page and saw that it was the end. With that said I absolutely loved their story, and would so love to see all of the characters again to see all their dreams come true. I would absolutely recommend reading this book. Thank you Ms. Ja'Nese you did it again please keep these wonderful stories coming. 👍🙏❤
- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019When two people find out that they have loved each other for a long time and that one has to get over what damage her father had placed upon her because her adopted mother showed her in thought word and deed what the true meaning of love was all about. How her brother did not influence Dylan or Yuki

- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2020“Yuki’s Luck” is about a woman with commitment issues and the man who has been waiting for her. Although Dylan and Yuki share a mutual attraction she’s afraid of being hurt and he refuses to be treated like a boytoy. Will Yuki find the courage to face her fears and accept all that Dylan has to offer? Good story, great characters, told with emotion that pulls at your heartstrings. We should all be open to love! Looking forward to the other stories featuring the rest of Yuki’s family.
