    This was every bit as good, if not better, than the first. In this adventure both women plus a hilarious Spurlock aunt go to France and then the United States hunting for Mort’s ancestry so that Lady Spurlock can finally agree to their match. What a surprise that turns out to be.
    I would be very surprised if there isn’t a third book on the horizon. I hope Vertiline is included.

    Well don't that beat all. I was surprised by who showed up in the story; and, I can't share because it would spoil the story. Alice and Nora are on the adventure of a lifetime and their chaperone is a hoot. If they have other adventures to be written, there are stories left to be told. The bad boys were bad and Alice has no qualms defending herself and those she loves to the death. An exciting and non-stop read I refused to put down.
