- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2019A quick enjoyable read.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.
I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2025A Road More Traveled (Cumberlin Intelligence Agency #1) is well-written. It does get a little slow at points. Diana keeps making mistakes over and over. Will she be able to get herself out of the messes she gets into? It has two good twists that I didn't see coming.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019Diana Cumberlin had a past she would love to leave behind--the only good that came out of it was her daughter who she was bound and determined to protect at all costs. She has a history of running away from her problems and other issues--this time she has a very good reason--Her husband is a drunk and a gambler--but there are others she is trying to escape.
This has twists and turns and it will be very hard to figure it all out--you will be very surprised at what really occurred!!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2022Parents- R- Adult Read- Drug use, alcohol abuse
Language- R- loads of language with f-bombs and G d*%# its and the like
Violence- murder and mob violence
Sexual Content- alluded relationships, mention on violent abusive relationships, attorney lover that she later married after she got pregnant
Spoiled CA lifestyle/characters, MC has a history of really bad life choices that land her and her bratty daughter into a thriller adventure trying to escape it all. I really had a horrible time trying to get in to this book, between the bratty, really messed up and rotten characters and the amount of bad language I just couldn't do it... I got about 1/3 through the nook and then had to stop.
Narrator- 3🌟 is a bit slow, better at 1.4, foes a decent job with some of the accents and voices but several sounded the same.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2019This is my favorite from Rebekah Dodson. I think Romantic Suspense is her calling because this book was thrilling from beginning to end, especially the twist at the end. Diana, George, Justin were all very well written, relatable characters. I had a soft spot for George. I won't say any more except to stop reading this review and go buy the book. You won't be disappointed.

The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good book
I couldn’t get into this book. The story was not believable I was hoping it would get better but the fairytale continued until the end.
