Joanna Alexopoulos, BA., M.Ed., life dramatically changed in 2012 when she suddenly started channeling answers from her spirit guides. The lost and confused wife, mother, and educator's life took a turn as she embarked on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and expanded consciousness. Joanna’s awakening led to countless hours conversing with her higher mentors, reading, meditating, practicing yoga and reiki, in deep contemplation to understand herself and the metaphysical phenomenon she was experiencing. This led to her connection and communication with God, The Ascended Masters, Angels, The Pleiadeans, and Archangel Raphael.

Together with the higher beings, channeled guidance, her empathic intuition, reiki healing, and public speaking, Joanna continues to help countless individuals realign with their truth and create the life that they've always wanted and dreamed of. She is thankful the challenges that she faced as a highly sensitive empath opened her heart to compassion and love for all. Joanna's passion in awakening others is deeply felt in her book and drives her mission in creating peace, love, and harmony on Earth.

Joanna lives in Toronto, Canada with her family. She embraces the beauty of her perennial garden, the tranquility of her Japanese garden, and the love she has for nature and sky photography.

    Awaken To Your Truth: The Time Is Now is a self help book by Joanna Alexopoulos. When it comes to the content of the book, the author is able to make a lot of valid points that are thought provoking and talks a lot about spirituality which I first mistook to be religion but in going through it one more time the distinction has become clearer.
    (Religion: This is a specific set of organised beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community or group. Spirituality: This is more of an individual practice, and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose.

    There a lot of elements in this book that are not in my power to be able to comprehend as some of the points put forth are far beyond my level of understanding. (Even after reading it twice.) But after having a talk with the author her aim of this book is to help it's readers live a life of joy, compassion and unity for the betterment of the world.
    What I would suggest while reading this book is take it one chapter at a time, because when you read it altogether at once, you are less likely to comprehend what the author is trying to put forth with her words.l.
    If you are interested in books on spiritual self-growth, and would like some direction, then this could be a good book for you
