A broken heart is never an easy one to mend.

    When CL King isn’t hard at work writing you can usually catch her reading, baking cookies, dancing to music, or just simply being crazy. She has a huge passion for baseball and the theatre. But her true nerd side comes out when she is doing math for fun. She has an old soul which is evident with her love of the 70s show Emergency. If you want to get on her good side bring her an Ocean Water from Sonic. Even though she tries to focus on one project at a time she always seems to be working on multiple projects at once, it’s a good thing that she is highly organized. Just don’t take her to a bookstore, you do that and you are likely able to spend hours browsing.

    This is 2nd book I’ve read written by Katrina Marie; she has done a great job at writing a good book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

    The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

    I loved the chemistry between the characters.

    I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I really liked this book, “Baseball & Broadway” is an enjoyable, entertaining, well written book. It has a good storyline with lovely, interesting characters. I really enjoyed reading their story. It kept me hooked from the first chapter, I couldn’t put it down. This is an Enjoyable, Engaging, Must Read Book from Katrina Marie & C. L. King

    I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review this amazing book. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just couldn't get enough of it and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I recommend that you read it.

    I enjoyed this read. I feel like some of the wording could have flowed better in a few spots, during conversations. But other than that, I have no complaints. It's a sweet story about a scared boy breaking up with his high school girlfriend before going away to college. Then realizing too late he's made the biggest mistake of his life. I do kind of wish we'd gotten more on why he did it, though. Both kids have big plans and dreams. Both become successful and even though she tried her best to prevent him from seeing her they run into each other. I do think that even after eight years, the love of your life wouldn't be so hard to recognize when face to face. But maybe not. It's an entertaining, light hearted story with both character's point of view. Voluntary review of an advanced reader's copy via booksprout.

    Easton and Alice were high school sweet hearts until he broke up with right before they were going off to college. Eight years later they haven’t forgotten each other and no one they’ve gone out with has come close. Easton is a pro baseball star and Alice “Kollene” is an up and coming Broadway star when he sees her again during a performance. Her show is put on cross country tour and they start a long distance relationship meeting up when they are both in the same city. But misunderstandings plague Alice when she sees pictures of Easton with another woman at a charity. Can she trust that he won’t break her heart again? Nice second chance romance with plenty of humor and sexy moments.

    A well-written second-chance story between baseball player Easton Parker and Up and coming Broadway star Alice Kollene, a stoey that kept my interestfrom the first page.
