Joe also wrote the Stop A Murder mystery puzzle series, where you become the sleuth and solve brain teasers to try and catch a killer.

He also wrote the sci-fi trilogy, Timecaster, Timecaster Supersymmetry, and Timecaster Steampunk. Even if you don't think you like sci-fi, give them a try. They feature Joe's well-known characters from his other series, and are insane.

With Ann Voss Peterson he wrote the Codename: Chandler thrillers, including Flee, Spree, Three, Hit, Exposed, Naughty, Fix (with F. Paul Wilson), Rescue, and Free.

And, finally, he writes erotica under the pen name Melinda DuChamp, also with Ann Voss Peterson. Those books are probably too spicy for you, so only the brave and bold should seek them out.

Joe writes a lot. You should probably read everything.

    I’m a big fan of JA Konrath. I read absolutely everything he puts out and I’ll tell you why…. My favorite author is Richard Laymon and I was really disappointed when I read the last of his books because no one tells a story the way he does. I went through many authors looking for someone who gave me the same thrills. Then one day, I stumbled upon JA Konrath and Jack Kilborn. He was the type of author I was looking for… someone who gives you memorable heroes and villains, in insane situations. Like Laymon, when you publish this many stories, not every single one will be a 5 star effort. This story, for example, was a little lacking in twists and plot, but you will still have a great time reading it as part of the Jack Daniels universe. Can’t wait for what is next!

    Every now and then I picked the next story of J.A. Konrath series featuring Jack Daniels. It started well detailing a Jack Daniels character in depth along with a solid environment of side characters and stories. However, all characters in stories since 2019 sadly drifting away from this successful theme. The last book I manage to complete was “Old fashioned” - not with the usual pleasure. I started the next story “Bite Force” but stopped after 20% as the description of “modern vampires” following the canibals from Old fashioned does no longer provide a proper storyline suiting the key characters from early days… I Hope that J.A. Konrath finds his way back…

    Even my favourite Harry wasn’t as funny.

Book 15 and the Jack Daniels series is starting to get a little stale, the jokes a little repetitive but there's just something there that keeps me coming back for more. Forget the fourth wall, Konrath broke all walls, some bones, any sense of decency and still I couldn't stop reading. I absolutely HATED the flashbacks and pray he never puts them in another book. Light hearted, disgusting fun to get you out of a reading slump.
