Breaking Point (Corps Justice Book 21) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 898 ratings

I was lost. I am still not found.
They took her. And now I'll take them.

Daniel Briggs thinks he is figuring life out for the second time—until his world shatters in an instant. His close friend, Anna, is snatched from the face of the earth, and he's plunged into a high-stakes chase that takes him to the sun-soaked, treacherous corners of the Florida Keys.

But this is no ordinary kidnapping. The puppet masters pulling the strings have a dark history with Daniel, a history he's completely unaware of. As the clock ticks and the walls close in, Daniel must answer a series of life-threatening questions:

Will he unravel the mystery and reach Anna before it's too late? Is he destined to become a twisted experiment in a game he doesn't even know he's playing? And what about his friends, who are completely in the dark? Will they piece together the puzzle in time to come to his aid?

In
BREAKING POINT, C. G. Cooper delivers a pulse-pounding thriller that dives deep into the human psyche, tests the limits of friendship, and challenges the boundaries of what one man will endure for the people he loves.

WHY C. G. COOPER MATTERS

Fiction has the power to change lives.

Pay a visit to Cooper Country and you’ll understand why. With his unique voice and flair for creating characters you’d love to hang out with, C. G. Cooper imparts every one of his novels with messages that perfectly illuminate what Faulkner called, “the human heart in conflict with itself.” In them, characters confront hard truths about life, the necessity of war, the military industrial complex, and why and how good men and women die.

But there are messages within the messages.

There is the power of the individual to triumph over evil against overwhelming odds; the struggle of good people against their inner demons; there is brotherhood, family, the discovery of allies in unexpected places, struggles with faith; there is community; there is authenticity; Cooper’s heart is on every page, beating hard and fast through action and moments of tenderness alike.

Expect high-octane action, slow-burn thrills, and gut-wrenching drama. Expect the ultimate conflict of the human heart.

This is Cooper Country. Lives will change.

THE LOWDOWN

Drawing on his days as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps—a stint that came on the heels of a degree in foreign affairs from UVA—Cooper sifted his experience through his vivid imagination and created Corps Justice, the first novel in the beloved Corps Justice series. Thus, a band of characters was born that would go on to enthrall readers throughout 17 novels and counting. With more than 2 million book downloads and multiple appearances in the Amazon Top 100, C. G. Cooper remains one of the most successful USA TODAY and Amazon best-selling authors.

In 2020, he won the prestigious James Webb Award presented by the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation for his novel Chain of Command.

In addition to bouncing around the country in search of the perfect vacation (turns out, it is anywhere with his family), Cooper has called Nashville home ever since his final Marine duty station. When not enjoying the laid-back lifestyle of Music City, he’s doing his best to add more novels to the growing list at cg-cooper.com.

This book finally solves Daniel’s issues. I think that more issues remain with others on the team and these will surface soon.

Reminds me of the Briggs series but better because we have the team in a support role. I liked that we got to see Anna shine in this book as well. This series is 21 books in and still as fresh and engaging as the early books. Highly recommend this book and the series.

Daniel Finds out that Anna has been taken by a former Marine sniper that he knew from sniper training. Mason has issues and was released from the Corp with an honorable discharge. From there he goes with a rogue group of operators. He loves killing and later joins and forms a company with his former Gunnery Sarg. They make Daniel come to a little know Florida Key that isolated. Cal finds a clue to Daniel’s whereabouts and Top and Gaucho are in the Keys already. They come together to help Daniel. Many twists and turns make this a C. G. Cooper epic.

Mr Cooper will never disappoint you with his books. His written words will capture you from the beginning.

Breaking Point, Corps Justice Book 21, leads us into Daniel Briggs’ and his trials and tribulations. Only Carlos can grab you and hold you captive with the Jefferson Group until the last sentence is read.

Carlos, 5 stars do not do Breaking Point justice, but 10- stars would.
Thank you for another SPECTACULAR Corps Justice adventure!

Anxiously awaiting October’s release of Kill Chain!

I have binged this whole series. Love all the characters but especially Daniel and Cal. I also really liked the warrior spiritually of Daniel. Anna is another character that I found intriguing. The story lines were often nail biting and very ingenious. I have pre ordered book 22. Can't wait.
