Crimson Snow Kindle Edition
My name is Lauren, and I was a stolen baby.
They found me in a trailer park in rural Texas when I was eight years old. My childhood wasn’t perfect, but then I had Kevin. He was my everything…
When they returned me to my biological parents, we were torn apart. My new family desperately tried to fix me, make me forget him… My father kept me on a short leash and controlled every aspect of my life. The one thought keeping me afloat was to find Kevin, but he vanished without a trace.
I searched for him for twelve years, but the man I found was not the boy I lost. He is a college baseball star, tattooed, moody, and dark… And he hates me.
Can Kevin help me defeat my demons, or does he have too many of his own?

- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2020Crimson Snow is almost too good for a NA book and would make an excellent movie. It has a plot that is not cookie cutter. It is at heart a sports romance, then a lot more spaghetti is thrown at the wall. I usually hate that because it never works, until it does. This book has a lyrical, literary feel that doesn't in any way make it less readable.
I am older now and it still amazes me that high school kids marry and stay together until their 60's. In Crimson Snow our characters find each other when they are six. The strange weaving of fortune and fate that bring them together and takes them apart set this story apart from most baseball romances. The H/h are both strong characters and the supporting characters are memorable. In short, this ticks all the boxes for me.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2020This story was not what I expected. Twists and turns from the beginning, I was hooked!
I love Kevin and Julie and I love Kevin and Lauren, both were stories of pure love for another.
A few errors in the book but they were ready to pass through.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2020I couldn't put this down. Such an amazing love story. Be warned though, you're gonna need a box of tissues!
The depth of love between Kevin and Lauren... it's a better story than The Notebook in my opinion. The author spends so much time on character development and exploring the affects of childhood trauma and abuse as the characters grow and help each other heal. This is definitely a book that will stay with me for a long time.
I'd love to see this made into a movie.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2020I really enjoyed this book. I read a lot of romance and I found this book hooked me right away.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2020I enjoyed reading Crimson Snow even though I'm not a big fan of romance. The plot is intriguing with unexpected twists and turns and keeps the reader engaged and eager to find out what happens next. Lauren and Kevin's story is about love in its purest and deepest form, born through years of suffering and misery. The book doesn't focus solely on the main characters' personal narratives; it also touches pressing social issues like racism, corruption and inequality.
