Writing is a labor of love for Linda Bridey, whose works are consistently on several top 100 best-selling romance book lists. Since starting her writing career in earnest, Linda has written thirty-seven books and counting, which have gained great popularity. Readers are drawn to her vivid writing of mail-order bride and historical romance stories, many of which deal with social issues, and always include humor and heart.
Her Westward series, which includes twenty-three books, is set in Dawson, Montana. When the series ended, her readers wanted more of the characters they'd come to know and love--so much so that it prompted her to create the Dawson Chronicles, which picks up the stories of many of the descendants of the original characters, but can also be read as a stand-alone series.
Linda's Echo Canyon series, tells the story of a small Montana town on the verge of extinction after the collapse of the mining industry in the region. It shows the ingenuity of the Echo's inhabitants in how they come together to save the town they love. All is not always as it seems in Echo with mystery, suspense, and romance abound!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2016What a beautiful story! I was deeply impressed by the vision quest, it was exciting, breathtaking, impressive and beautiful. Although I don't believe in homosexuality of either men or women because the Bible tells us plainly that it is detestable to God, I do realize that people have their own beliefs and it's not my place to judge them, that belongs only to God.
I am so looking forward to the next book in this series, and I hope that it comes out very quickly!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2016I have enjoyed all the westward series. It is fun to read about the people you already know. This book was great but i'm sorry to finish it because there are no other books about Dawson. I hope she writes some more series. I also read the series about Echo. Keep up the great writing.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2016Wow!!!! When JJ' s wife got shot it was just heart breaking!!! Even in jail he was a good guy, protecting those girls!! I thought for a little while Eric was gay wanting Runner to stay with him and couldn't make with Jay,but I think that he was just taken by his first wife. Happy for those 2 girls on the cliff, that was quite a deal with her husband pushing them. Then that dream journey in the caves was incredible. One last thing I liked how you combined the two towns!!!! Great book!!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2016Picks up with the journey to find Runner. Great character development. Introducing Peanut and Annie and Jaelynn, the mix of American Lakota Indians, and old west, horses and early automobiles. Easy to read, so many characters you can get confused. Love the acceptance of all people. Couldn't we all learn from their example?
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2019Please continue this series. There's still so much we need to find out about Eric and Runner and JJ. PLEASE

- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2016This book explains a lot of the Lakota heritage and their beliefs. The story is easy reading while entertaining. It is recommended for anyone interested in the old West and about the Indian Nation.
