About the author

Sherry D. Ramsey is a bestselling speculative fiction writer, editor, publisher, creativity addict and self-confessed Internet geek. When she’s not writing, she reads, gardens, makes stuff, hones her creative procrastination skills on social media, and consumes far more coffee and chocolate than is likely good for her.
Her books include her Nearspace series from Tyche Books; the urban fantasy series Olympia Investigations; science fiction and fantasy for middle grade and young adult readers, and several collections of short fiction. With her partners at Third Person Press, she has co-edited several anthologies of regional short fiction. A member of the Writer’s Federation of Nova Scotia Writer’s Council, Sherry is also a past Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer of SF Canada, Canada’s national association for Speculative Fiction Professionals.
Sherry lives in Nova Scotia with her husband, children, and dogs. You can visit her online at www.sherrydramsey.com, find her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SherryDRamseyAuthor, and keep up with her much more pithy musings on Instagram @sdramsey.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2018Your first thought for a helper in an investigation is unlikely to be a vampire, but it works for me in this story. Great fun, and I want to read more about Olympia Investigations, please!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2019The author has a talent for innovation - in world-building, character development, and in plot. This series does all that and provides just a really enjoyable read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 20212 homeless people are found murdered, their bodies discovered at different locations. Both have small what appear to be vampire bite marks on their necks. This makes Acacia a little suspicious as to the motives of her client.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2018This was a great short story. It was unique and interesting. I enjoyed the characters and the plot. The author is very talented. I will be looking into more of her works.
