Your first thought for a helper in an investigation is unlikely to be a vampire, but it works for me in this story. Great fun, and I want to read more about Olympia Investigations, please!

The author has a talent for innovation - in world-building, character development, and in plot. This series does all that and provides just a really enjoyable read.

2 homeless people are found murdered, their bodies discovered at different locations. Both have small what appear to be vampire bite marks on their necks. This makes Acacia a little suspicious as to the motives of her client.
