    Elle writes so well. I wish i was Kara so i could have a Sloan. There is so much love between these two, it makes your heart hurt for all that they go through. I would recommand this book, i think you should know it is a dark book and there is violence and rape.

    I'm horrible at reviews. I read a lot. This book picked up without missing a beat from the previous one. Plenty of sex, romance, mystery, suspense with a edge of violence. Does a good job with keeping some kinky but not taking it disgusting. Sexual abuse and child abuse are very serious and speaking from experience I held my breath in some spots bordering on reliving past experiences vs remembering this is a book. Characters make you question them a lot and leave you thinking wow 1st impressions can be spot on but don't let them rule. Glad Charlie's was wrong but I knew Deacon left me w a chill for a reason. Bummed the 3rd book not ready but I think that's what e-books have done to me, I want it now...lol

    This series I love to hate. Sloan makes you love him while you hate him. I was not able to put the books down but I will say this series is not for the faint of heart. Some of the scenes hurt because you know that even though the book is fiction things like this happen every day. If you want butterflies and rainbows this series is not for you but if you want a story about survival of a victim that no matter what (even if she does some dumb s***) continues to grow and not let the darkness completely take her than this series will keep you captivated and coming for more.

    I know, I know. After everything I said about book 1, "Fractured," I decided to read book 2, "Tormented." I have no one else to blame. What can I say except I was curious. I should've just walked away and picked up something else to read. I don't know why I thought this would be any different because the story that continues is once again a total cliché. The worst part, it doesn't end here. The story continues with book 3, no title or date of release available yet. Will I read that one too? I'm leaning towards no, but don't hold me to it.

    ok.. Where do I begin with fractured series, keeping in mind I have read 1, 2, & 2.5 of the series. You would think I truly loved the series, not the case, unfortunately I was emotionally drained when I read all the books, yes, I did get hooked, but I truly believe in happy endings, and I was so longing to get it. So now I'm waiting patiently for the third book. It’s not that I didn’t like the series, one expects different things within the book, obviously that’s why we read and explorer our options. Because let’s not kid ourselves, Sloan and Kara are obsessed with one and other. Although, I hate the way they met the first time years ago, once the obsession began. More than once I wanted to throw my tablet to the wall, I mean seriously how many times can a person fall into the hands of their despicable vicious rapist. That didn’t go well with me, and where in the hell are the police in all this??.. ok call me naïve, I just wasn’t getting this at all. So in over all I want to see this to the end, even if I have to cry again!.

    You ever have a character you just want to throttle? Yeah,Kara is one of them for me.She reads to much into situations. But then again,I have never been in her situation so I guess it's fair for me to say.... Maybe in her state of mind,it's what she needs to do.

    I love Sloan,I don't always agree to his ways and his hiding the truth from Kara,but I can also see why he does it.His love for her is unbridled.

    I love this series and look forward to the next book.

    This was an exciting continuation of the first book. Absolutely had to read this after completing Book 1. The first one could be a stand-alone (whic I love), but it left business unfinished. The editing wasn't terrific, but the intensity of the story more than made up for that. This book was impossible to put down, as was the first, and my review of the third will undoubtedly be as good as this review.

    A good follow up to the first book, it didn't pack the punch the first book had and although many questions were answered you are left on another cliff hanger. With that said i still really liked it, and the story continued well. It won't be to every ones taste, if you don't like dark angsty books that deal with human nature at it's worst then don't read it, although like the first book a bit predictable in places, i thought it was a good read and i would read the next book ;-)
