    I'm a sucker for a rejected mates story, so as soon as I saw this book I knew that I just had to read it, and let me say that I was not disappointed. I was not sure how this would turn out, as most of the harem seemed to be at odds with each other, but fear not... there is a happy ending. I love how all of Amanda's guys treat her like a queen because she has been treated awful for most of her life because she is a wolf-witch hybrid. I am definitely planning on reading all of the other standalones in this universe.

    This is the third book in the Hybrid Shifter world. This time we get Amanda's story. I was hooked right from the start. I love having the multiple POV's. I think Amanda is a wonderful FMC and I love how she goes from feeling worthless because she's been treated so badly in the pack she grew up in, to being a lot more self confident with the help of her mates, at the end of the story. I love how her three mates are so different from each other and how we also get Dante's story and how he grows throughout the story. I can't wait to read more from this world

    This book isn’t bad, but at the same time it really didn’t hook me either. I got bored enough about 60 percent in that I switched to another book and just never came back. There was nothing about the book that made me want to come back and finish it. The relationships were bland and awkward, and there really isn’t anything that sets it apart from dozens of other similar books. The rejected mate trope did nothing but become a convenient wedge between the characters (who were terrible at just communicating) and the male omega (which I get really excited about) was more or less just a rebellious kid that spent very little time with the other main characters. Everyone just spent too much time separated to really mesh as a group.

    I was so confused because I picked this one up because of a FB post that talked about how much she was crying over this book, so I thought there would be some deep, emotional aspect to the storyline. Not at all. It didn’t even manage to make me feel kinda bad for the heroine, unlike some more recent releases like Pack Darling and Broken Bonds.

    Ok book, but I don’t recommend if you are looking for deep emotional bonds or strong character/relationship development.

    With Gators hunting Amanda, it's clear that she is not safe. Will the guys be able to protect her? What about the coven vying for Dantes attention? Will she be able to trust the guys after everything she has gone through?

    I really enjoyed the storyline of this book! This was my first book by this author, and it will not be my last. I was left wanting more with the characters, but I still enjoyed the overall story. The tension with the characters was sky high and the steam at the end was perfect!

    I enjoy reading the rejected mate trope. The rejection feels like an afterthought in this book though. She starts off in the city where the object of her affection rejects her and then moves to go to school and meets her new mates. She is pursued by a gator shifter unbeknownst to her but her new mate sniffs him out checking on her car. He immediately goes to kill the gator shifter. There was zero build up to the solution. It would have been so much better if the gator had evaded her new mates for a bit and given Amanda something to worry about. If there had been some anticipation involved I wouldn't have felt so bored. The rest of the story is the guys tiptoeing around Amanda and not wanting to tell her they are her new mates and upset her. Then they tell her and her reaction is just blah. There was some witch drama but I zoned out with that stuff. There was a HEA but the plot and characters felt stilted. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read but I had a really difficult time getting through it.
