Pretty Little Werewolf: Young Adult Shifter Fantasy Kindle Edition
A teenage werewolf, who's spent her life in foster care, finds her dream of being part of a real family threatened by a decades-long pack war. 2016 RONE Award Runner Up Young Adult Paranormal "Enjoy this wonderfully written, evenly-paced mix of the paranormal and the everyday teenage life. The balance between pack politics and ordinary life really makes this story work." ★★★★ ~ Ind'tale Magazine
Most high school girls dream of popularity; all Giselle wants is a home. A child of the foster system, she's been rejected by more families than she can count. Being a werewolf in a world where supernatural creatures are not out and proud, is rough.
No one wants a freak!
When a family of shifters offers to adopt her, it's like a dream come true. Until Giselle discovers they're involved in a deadly turf war dividing the wolf packs in her city.
When the body of a shifter is found in the desert, Giselle's new foster family is accused of the murder. Lines are drawn in the sand and, before she's even unpacked her bags, Giselle is forced to chose a side. Unless she can unearth the truth before war breaks out, joining a pack might just send Giselle six feet under instead of back into the foster system.

A great YA werewolf adventure."A wonderful YA tale following Giselle, a 17 year old foster girl who just can't find her place and gets bounced from house to house more than regularly. Pretty Little Werewolf
Orphaned as a pup, and lost in the foster care system, Giselle has spent the last 16 years dreaming of finding her pack. But, when she does she'll have to decide if submitting to an alpha is worth sacrificing her life.In a world where supernatural creatures are not out and proud, little werewolf Giselle has never known love, acceptance, or what it means to belong to a pack. A child of the foster system, she's been rejected by more families than she can count. No one wants a freak! When a family of shifters offers to adopt her, Giselle thinks her dreams have finally come true. Until she discovers they're involved in a brutal power struggle dividing the paranormal factions in her city. When a dead shifter is found in the desert, it's Giselle's new foster family who is accused of the murder. Lines are drawn in the sand and before she's had a chance to unpack her back, Giselle is told to chose her side. Unless she can unearth the truth before war breaks out, joining a pack might just send Giselle six feet under instead of back into the foster system.Curious Little Werewolf
Things would be perfect if supernatural disasters would quit creeping up and ruining Giselle's happy new life. After finally finding the fur-ever home she's always wanted a witch blows into town promising to reveal the bloody past of Giselle's birth, and the circumstances that led the little werewolf to end up in the foster care system to begin with.
Hot on the witch's trail, another pack of wolves is on the hunt for revenge, and will accept nothing less than her death in retribution for the havoc she's wrought on them.
Caught in the crossfire, Giselle desires only the truth, and if the witch is who she claims to be, the little werewolf must protect her at any cost. If she's lying, though, Giselle risks her own kind seeing her as a traitor. Neither her new pack nor her hottie witch boyfriend Damien can offer any help. Giselle is on her own again. And if she makes the wrong decision, she'll lose the only link she has to her own past.
Fearless Little Werewolf
The death of the Regional Alpha exposes Giselle to the deadly game of werewolf politics where friends are liabilities, boyfriends are weaknesses, and family are pawns strategically played against her.
Finding her fur-ever family, after years lost in the foster care system, brought more drama than little werewolf Giselle had bargained for, especially when it's discovered she's the long lost daughter of the former Regional Alpha, Orion Silverman.
After the current Alpha's death, Giselle is suddenly thrust into the brutal arena to prove herself. Her veins might run with the blood of Alphas, but all her enemies can see is a legacy of human weakness, and they'll do anything to prevent this feral pup from taking leadership.
In the game of Alphas, claiming the title is the greatest prize, one which most would kill to achieve. But for Giselle to win, she'll have to risk her pack, her family... and her life.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseGiselle has lived in one foster home after another for as long as she can remember. All she has ever wanted was to have a family to call her own. Every time she is placed into a home things go great until the full moon and her wolf makes its appearance and back into foster care she goes.
Things may just be looking up for Giselle with the new foster home that she has been placed in. Giselle may just have found the one thing she has always wanted and that is a pack and family of her own. Her new foster parents want to adopt her if she will have them.
Giselle would love nothing more but it this adoption thing has come up real quick like and she is of the mind that sometimes a good thing may not be so good after all especially when she hears about another pack in the area that her soon to be pack is in war with. Giselle wants a pack and family but not if it could mean losing her life. She doesn’t want to start a new life and then have it taken away at the snap of her fingers.
Before she consents to be a part of the pack Giselle is determined to find out why the two packs are at war and to hopefully put an end to all the fighting before agreeing to become a member of the pack. Can Giselle find out what started the war between the two packs?
Giselle is a very snarky little werewolf who just wants to be loved and to feel as if she belongs. Giselle has two very hot dudes sniffing at her tail, a witch and a werewolf. Both are very likable dudes the only problem with one of them is that he belongs to the pack that her pack is in war with.
Pretty Little Werewolf has so much to offer it has werewolves, witches, pack wolves, lone wolves, curses, betrayal, war and a love triangle.
Pretty Little Werewolf is a great introduction into the world of the Little Werewolf. Pretty Little Werewolf was definitely a fast read as I read it in one sitting. Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. I love the story of the wolves and I can’t wait to see where Giselle takes us on her next journey in book two of the Little Werewolf series, Curious Little Werewolf.
I highly recommend Pretty Little Werewolf to anyone who are fans of fantasy, werewolves, witches and romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2017Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI'm never surprised when I walk away from a Katie Salidas book with a smile. She has a special talent for weaving a story that entertains while dtill having a good level of depth. This is probably one of the more light hearted stories she has written, no doubt because the protagonist is quite young, but it definitely had my attention from the first chapter.
But as with any good review, this should answer two questions most of all. Did I enjoy this story, and would I recommend it to others? The answer is definitely on both fronts. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see more development in regards to some of the characters. Some of them felt a little too flat.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2017Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis was great, I really love Katie Salidas' writing and I found the premise to be an unique take on shifters. Giselle is a foster kid, who has been passed around to multiple homes because she has little quirk that people don't understand; she is a werewolf. Giselle is sent to a new home, but she has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and finds it hard to trust because she's only had herself to rely and depend on, so she isn't expecting much from her new place, but when she finds other werewolves, can she trust them enough to become part of their pack? Especially when she is hearing conflicting stories between the two wolf packs in town, and the possibility of a war brewing between them. Giselle doesn't know who to trust, so she sets out to solve the mystery of the feud between the packs and find out the truth in hopes of bringing peace to both packs, and with the help of Asher, a hot, but broody wolf shifter, and Damien, the hot and approachable guy with his own special powers, she begins to unravel the truth. Giselle is tenacious, and I admired that quality in her, and I like that she stands up for herself and her convictions. She doesn't take anyone at face value, she tries to look beyond what is presented to her, and she is brutally honest, which I loved. I liked reading about the mystery unfolding, and was interested in how it would all turn out. I liked that the other girls in her new home weren't the typical mean girls, they felt more authentic to me that way, and it was nice to see Giselle bond with them. There is a tinge of a love triangle, but not really. Giselle likes both Asher and Damien, but the feelings aren't be all end all type of feelings. I'm looking forward to seeing how Giselle progresses in the next book, and seeing where her story goes because there is still a lot about her life that remains hidden, so I'm definitely checking out the next book. Great start to this series!

Format: KindleVerified PurchaseCould you chose a side in an ongoing war without knowing more? It's a fairly quick read, but it's packed full of drama, intrigue, and emotion. I already love the characters and I can't wait to read about more of Giselle's adventures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow family feuds can be deadly
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is an excellent book, Giselle is introduced to her new foster family and really wants to fit in but with her little secret that seems impossible. Then she smells wolf on her new foster mother and thinks that maybe it will work after all.
Throw in another pack of wolves, some witches and a feud going back years and involving them all and suddenly everything is not so simple. Getting attacked by a lone wolf should have stopped her, but Giselle is not one to give up easily.
This book shows the intricacies of pack life and how it's interactions have consequences. A must read for all lovers of the supernatural world.

Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWow!!! I was hooked straight away. Even I wasn't sure who she wanted but I got a surprise in the end. This book is well written about 2 packs of wolves feuding about something from the past and it takes the young pups to sort it out. Buy the book you won't be disappointed.
