4.5 out of 5 stars 4 ratings

Trevor Nash has one mission: to destroy the One Race Project, and in doing so save the last of Juniper’s enhanced siblings. In order to do both, he must set aside his growing feelings for Mari and maintain his focus.

Mari Yosoto is determined to live again and come out of hiding. Nothing will stop her and Trevor from taking down the Project once they reach Mars. Getting there is the easy part. Trying to strengthen their relationship is more complicated.

Then the Project attacks them on their way to Mars, severely damaging both the ship and the Monarch crew. However, they refuse to give up and with the help of some friends and advanced EarthCorps tech, the team tracks the Project to an old Mars Base.

Trevor and Mari set everything else aside and head into the fight, regardless of the consequences, aware this is their last chance to stop the Project permanently and be together.

If they both survive…

Jenn's love of writing started the year she received her first diary and Nancy Drew novel. Throughout her teenage years, she kept a diary of her personal thoughts and feelings but graduated from Nancy Drew to other mystery suspense novels.

She often adds a thriller and suspense element to anything she writes be it Romance, Science Fiction, or Fantasy. When not writing, she spends her time reading, observing pop culture, and driving her friends crazy with all the characters living in her head.

Takedown is an intense fast-paced conclusion to the Monarch Mission Files trilogy. Jenn Nixon never disappoints and I found myself having to catch my breath multiple times while reading!
