    This is the story of Dane, the 2nd Moon brother who returns from Las Vegas after having enough of his gambling & drinking which both got him into a little trouble. He's awaken by water being dumped on him, thinking he's at home but finds he's passed out in the barn of his neighbor, Brennah, the local vet. He heads home but seems to be smitten with Brennah and shows up at her door quite a bit. He's the town Bad Boy; she's the good girl. Can there be anything between them? He starts coming around to help her on her ranch and things heat up. There's plenty of soul searching, learning to trust and regrets but they each begin to realize what they really want of each other. This was a great addition the the series and look forward to reading the next Moon brother.

    Dane is the son of an alcoholic father who alternated between being violent and being neglectful. He is convinced that he is doomed to follow in his father’s footsteps. Brennah is the daughter of an alcoholic mother who also terribly neglected her. She grows up intensely focused to succeed and be self-sufficient. The scene of their first meeting, and the epilogue, are vivid parts you will never forget.

    This book is a fast-paced story about love and attraction, passion and persistence, trust and forgiveness. Dane is one of the hottest, dirty-talking heroes you could want, and Brennah is a wonderfully deserving heroine who, through this relationship, discovers there is more to her than she ever realized. Their HEA is very well-deserved. Now I can’t wait to read Asher’s story!

    This is the second book in this series about the Moon brothers. Dane has hit rock bottom and ended up back home. Only not quite home but in the neighbor's barn. She was not happy. Then life for both of them gets interesting. The brothers are still dealing with fall out from the dad as well.

    He got away to Las Vegas, but a failed marriage behind him, questioning his choice of career, and his general dislike of Vegas has him coming home now that his father is dead.

    Brennah, the local vet, is not impressed to find Dane passed out on her property, drunk and dead to the world. She wants nothing to do with him.

    And so the story begins.....

    Can Dane convince Brennah that he's a changed man?

    Can Brennah let go of the past long enough to admit she's attracted to Dane?

    Will they have a HEA?
