SHARK (Shifter Kings Nashville Book 3) Kindle Edition
A surfer dude king looking for his queen.
Magic is about to happen.
Shark Irons has a problem. He’s supposed to be finding his queen. He’s supposed to be sliding into his role as king. What he is doing is dealing with a rash of shark attacks taking place in the Cumberland River. Humans are in danger. His shark shifters’ swimming holes are being closed down. And Shark’s worried he’s already failing as king.
Lexie Leland is a nerd. In fact, she’s in Nashville for a Comic-Con when she finds herself in a bind. Who should save her but a magical being, of course? Only Lexie isn’t buying what Shark is selling.
It’s a good thing these Nashville Shifter Kings know how to convince a woman he’s in it for the long haul.
Shark’s got a lot on his plate, but he’s about to find that Lexie is his complement in all things. He asked for a queen, and he’s getting one with fire, with sass, and with more power than he ever thought possible.
Warning: Nerdy, sassy, sexy novella-length read ahead...

I'm the proud momma to a golden retriever named Charlie, two tortoises named Jake and John, a frog named Toad, and a gopher snake. The latter is my girl, Holly Jr. There's also the fact that I'm a thunderstorm-loving, front porch-sitting, hot cocoa-drinking, beauty product-hoarding, self-proclaimed environmentalist who just happens to write erotic romance.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2019Lexie went to Nashville for comic con with her best friend Rudy who is gay and made friends with Henry Lion's sister and were invited to the beach. She met shark and found out that she was his queen and she was a sea witch and her friend was a witch and kept it a secret. Some thing is attacking the sea creatures under shark's rule and they are trying to figure out who or what.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2020Seriously though! How is it with each book I get more and more lost in each of these stories and manage to feel like I am the characters?
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2019Enjoyed Shark, Lexie, Rudy, Henry, and even warmed up to Sera. Loved nerd, sci-fi, comic-con and water. Felt a bit lost with the water bit abd the attacks snd thd csuse. I think that maybe I missed something during my read. I guess my looking for a bog showdown r akediwn for the shark king and his eitch queen. Poison js still an enjgma. I missed wolf.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2019Right from the start there's a whole lot of nerd. I liked both Shark and Lexie right away because they were definitely unique and we were given a pretty clear picture of who each of them are and why we should like them. The big reveal was a little awkward, to say the least, as was the first intimate moment between the MC's. It's not that their sexy times didn't pack a steamy punch, it certainly did, but I think it was the lead up, it just didn't feel well timed. As for the mystery surrounding Nashville's shifter population, there's not a whole lot of explanation or progress. In a book this short it just didn't have enough page space to get things really rolling without giving us enough of a relationship build sufficient to carry the story. What it did give, however, was a sweet, sexy, quirky romance, a great set up for the next story (hopefully Wolf and Sera's!!), and a general sense of the turmoil that's brewing and what we might expect as the series continues. The dialogue was mostly incredibly quirky and sometimes cringey, but the whole thing was silly, sexy, and I found myself utterly charmed. I'm definitely going to read more from this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2019Just as good as the first three, if not better. Please go out and pick up this series. If you're into shifters in anyway, these books are for you!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019This is Book 3 in the Brute Force series. Even though this is a series, you can read this book as a stand-alone book and have no problems understanding what’s going on. I thought this was a great story! Ilya Dragonovich has helped Emma Jane save her home. Dragon expects Emma Jane to be scared of him but she shows him that that is the last emotion that he will get from her. There’s no way that she’s going to be scared of him. She calls him the Russian Lothario and she knows that is the perfect name for him. Then someone tries to kill her and he rushes to keep her safe. The chemistry between them will keep you hot enough to melt ice cubes. And trying to figure out who is trying to kill her will keep you on the edge of your seat. There’s so much that we don’t know about Emma Jane’s Dragon! You will be so surprised at everything you read. There’s something in this book to keep everyone interested from the first word until you read the last word. I don’t think Lora Leigh can write a bad book. They just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to read more books in this series. They are all fantastic books!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2019Holly Gunn did a great job on Shark, it was a great story, the plot was well written. Shark and Lexie were great characters. These two were made for each other. They completed one other in a way neither saw coming. Their connection was strong and their chemistry was sexy. Lexie and Shark were great together. I enjoyed their story, they were great together.
This was a good story. Thank you, Holly Gunn. Great work :)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2019This is my first time reading this author and even though this is book 3 in the series and the first one I’ve read I had no problem understanding what was going on. It’s a quick read and a fun read. The characters are likable, and their dialogue is nerdy and fun. I’ve never read a shark shifter story before and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The plot is interesting and easy to follow, it’s a great way to spend an hour or so.
