Shadow Warrior (The Nightwatch Academy Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,155 ratings

Once upon a time there was a woman who looked out for number one. That woman is dead.

When the final shadow trials are brought forward by several weeks, there’s no time to lose in preparation. My troop’s support reminds me that there’s no ‘I’ in ‘team’ and gives me confidence that together we can pass whatever tests the knights throw at us.

I guess attachments aren’t so bad.

I guess the L word doesn’t have to hurt.

But when the principal tells me that Payne isn’t coming back, everything is put on hold. Something is terribly wrong. Payne’s in danger, and there’s only one person who can get me to him, but will the cocky weaver agree to help me?

The rollercoaster of life is about to take a major loop de loop.

Here’s to hoping I don’t fall off.

The Vampire Academy meets Game of Thrones in this kick-ass, supernatural academy, Urban Fantasy with a slow burn Why Choose Romance.

I am devouring this series and on to the next book. The characters are so well developed and relatable that they become friends and you mourn their loss with Indigo as she loses another. So much confusion over what is really happening in the mist. Who is the enemy and still no real answers. Indigo learns that her side is not always following the path to justice and there are lots of hidden agendas. Talk about conflicted, indigo is dealing with a lot but when isn't she? Most people would have fallen in a heap or given up before now but she never gives up or gives in and what a cliffhanger ending.

Wow. That ending has me writing this review extra quick so I can read the last book ASAP. Most of the first half of the book concentrated on getting Payne back and the last half was the cadet trials. I was pretty impressed by the whole TV show premise. Kudos to the author for thinking that up.
Again, I gave the third book 4 stars instead of 5 because of Hyde. He is still so back and forth and it was kind of irritating to read. But Brady and Kash made up for it. The ending though....I have so many questions and am super curious to see how the last book plays out. Recommend this series!

CLIFFHANGER!!! This story just has my emotions being ripped apart. Debbie Cassidy is queen of torture. You get a nice friend, then she steals them away. You fall in love with a character and she cuts it off. She’s savage. This series has been no exception.

I felt like I was getting answers and able to predict an ending, but now I’m second guessing everything.

Justice, Shadow cadet and newly discovered weaver, has just started to learn about the weaver side of her heritage both personally and magically. As the story progresses the foe across the mist raids, a decision is made, and living with the consequences will make or break them. Debbie Cassidy’s Shadow Warrior is an emotional and physical journey worth taking. I can’t wait to see how this journey ends in the final installment.

Disappointed. Maybe I'm wrong when I think that people wouldn't share as easily as books like this always make it seem. People are jealous, envious, etc. This is one person, and honestly I don't get why everyone thinks she's so great. Seemed like they all liked her randomly.

I also hate when it's one sided. Yeah, I can have all these dudes, but you're Mine and Mine alone. That's not fair at all, and I doubt it'd be like that. The only person the situation was understandable with was Kash because that's how it apparently is in the weaver community. So, I accept that, but then other people even risking their lives and going so far out of their way to be with her when she's already with someone? I can't see that being a thing.

I really liked the books before this love triangle truly became a thing, but, unfortunately, I won't be reading the rest. If that type of thing doesn't bother you, or if you even like it, then you'll probably love these books. They're very fast reads and interesting. Gets 3 stars instead of lower because of that.

This one must not have been too long. The story as a whole is ramping up. I love Brady I love how kind he is even if he’s a bit gruff. I want to see who Indie all ends up with. This one though is a build up of what’s going on in the mist. So many twists and turns I’m not sure who is causing what, and who is right I just suspect there’s a lot going on we still don’t know about. I want to know more. But that ending man....rough.

Whoa! I don't even know where to begin, this book tore me apart, put me back together, and just as everything was right, it annihilated me. There is so much going on that it's nail biting! I was on the edge of my own sanity reading straight through absorbing each page like a tasty morsel. I thought I had this all figured out, knew who the bad guys we're, now I'm completely at a loss? Enemies become understood, giving the benefit of the doubt ends in a death of a friend, indie is in the verge of losing her mind! This last book im hoping for lots of butt kicking and taking names, because how much s**** can one girl take.

Omg where do I even begin?! This 3rd book was amazing. Finally we know what kind of being Larkin is which was totally unexpected. I was also surprised with the relationship between Indie and Kash but I love it and can't wait to see what happens. Now as far as Indie and Brady, I am so glad she finally told him how she felt and they took it to the next level.

This was a bit of a cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out how Brady's blood is the salvation. Oh and the explosion...was Hyde really in there?? Only way to know is to read the next book.

I’m so disappointed that this book felt short and not a lot going on I don’t know this book was shorter than the others and there seems to be more questions than answers and I hope that the fourth book isn’t so rushed and boring everything that writer normally brings will just be forgotten lets hope the last book goes without a bang
