    This is the second book in the Obsession duet and Cruel Obsession must be read first.

    This picks up where the first one left off.

    Zane wakes up in a hospital bed, and Dove wakes up tied to a chair being kidnapped by Christian.

    This book is a must read. It is full of twists and turns. Tons of drama, and lots of mob action.

    Zane and Dove continue to have tons of chemistry and hot sex. He is possessive and controlling. He continues to show that he will do anything to protect Dove.

    Dove does a lot of growing in this book. She is a strong heroine that can stand on her own.

    This was my first introduction to the Rossi family, and I'm definitely going to have to check out Xander, Damon, and Ivan more.

    I recommend this book to anyone who wants a book full of action

    When I finished book 1 I said I wouldn’t leave a review until I finished the 2 book series. The first book had me a little displeased with their connection and didn’t really see it. I had already guessed who he was but still didn’t like how obsessed he was. Book 2 really came in hot at times. I enjoy this author and I’m ready to read many more books, but I will definitely always make sure I don’t have to wait for the conclusion to come out before I start reading anymore or any authors books.

    Im not one to criticize author or for this matter authors. Have a couple of books from the duo. They have a hit and miss kinda going ons with their books. But one thing is consistent tho, unfortunately its spelling and typo errors. I really dont want to get distracted by it, but sometimes when im in the zone it kinda take away the feels of the moment. I say, this particular story has potential and I mean it. It could've been done in a single book since the 2nd back gives me a headache with all the drama just so the story can stretch to justify the installment. I wish the authors could've dug deeper on the emotions of the 2 characters instead of the loop it in vibes.

    To be honest, this book as better than Cruel Obsession. I love that the duet makes sense and whole the Rossi stories. It’s just nice to find the Rossi brothers have a little sister.

    I also love the suspense throughout the story. I’m anticipating the worst, however never came.

    To me, what disappointing from this story is:
    - Creativity and courage to try. The plot is very potential. It could make the story longer and greater. I feel that the authors are afraid to hurt Dove. I feel that the authors are afraid to develop more moments especially the brotherhood with Dove.
    - The ending or anti climax. It’s always like this. Most of their stories are so quick to end. I mean it’s like serving 1 blow to 100 problems. The thing about that is, it dismissed the huge effect of the problems or conflicts they create. It leaves me as a reader UNSATISFIED because the solution is just too instant.

    I do, however, see the way they write is getting better and the way their mind plotting the story is also getting better. It’s just the delivery into the story is still quite not 100% yet.

    This two book duet was too good. It starts with Zane watching Dove. He always does this. He visits her in the night while she’s sleeping. He’s always protected her from those who wish her harm. For Dove, he’s the man in the shadows. Looks a bit creepy I know. Looks rather stalkerish I know. But Zane will never hurt her. In fact, he’s beyond smitten. When his boss tells him to kill Dove. Well quite frankly it’s too much so Zane decides to take her. Well I’ve given enough of a spoiler. This is definitely worth the read.

    Poor Dove she was just stuck in the middle during this book. Just when you think she had a win she would run into something else. It made the book very engaging and kept you rooting for her.

    Poor Zane I though the big man was gonna blow a gasket throughout this book. I'm not gonna like I'm alittle disappointed that he didn't because I was waiting for the blood.

    Great story had some twist and turns that I wasn't expecting. The last line of this book is perfect, I think those who love dark books with completely understand.

This book had me hooked, although life for both Zane and Dove was so violent and heartbreaking the only constant and beauty in their cruel world was the pure love they had for each other. Although Zane was so possessive she was his whole world. I loved everything about this book and the ending was just perfect. Amazing read.
