#PrankLove in Blue (#LovePranks Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 154 ratings

Baby pranks, baby scares, or the real deal?

Ninni lives for pranking the crap out of K-Pop.
She’d do it with him 24/7—sorry: do it
to him.

As in prank him.

Yep, their thing has everything to do with pranks.
Nothing to do with an insanity-in-a-bucket attraction.
It’s not like he’s drop-dead gorgeous and has infinite charisma or anything.
His brain isn’t Donald Duck, Einstein, and Shakespeare in one mischievous swirl either.

Nope! The girls of Blossom Field Avenue #246 and the Dudes of #247 are at prank war.

The Dudes are about to get upstaged.
It’s the prank of the ages!
Perfect. Legendary. Life-altering.

Wait:
baby-inducing?

No worries, though. When pranks OD on love, the Dudes and the Blossoms know exactly what to do.

#PrankLove in Blue is no. 3 in the #LovePranks series. It can, without an issue, be read separately from the other books.

Sunniva Dee is a bestselling author with an eclectic taste in books. Born and raised in Norway, Sunniva lived in the United States for seventeen years before returning to the mothership. She currently dwells at the midst of a glittering Nordic winter, where she sucks inspiration from trolls and barn gnomes and cold little mermaids popping their heads out of the fjords. Oh, and Spotify. Always Spotify. Sunniva dabbles in literary romance, romantic comedy, contemporary romance, young adult fiction, new adult fiction, dark romance, and paranormal fiction. Unlike some authors, she was not raised by fairies, and unlike others, she's not also a musician. But she boasts a ridiculous sense of humor and an obsession with furry mammals.

While living in the Midwest, Sarah Puckett found a way to incorporate her love of acting through audiobooks. Professionally trained in acting and narration, she has brought her brand of sweet and sultry narration to multiple genres, including romance, fantasy, mystery, and young adult. Her emotionally driven performances are raved about in reviews, and her passion for books keeps her invested in each story.

This is Ninni and K-Pop's story, and it's brilliant. It is so honest to these characters! They meet while K-Pop is a freshman pledge, and he immediately is smitten with the girl who looks like a Japanese anime princess. The two have their one off hookup, approved by Blossom Girl code, and then it begins!

I thought that Picasso was the most romantic, but you see suddenly how K-Pop has grown in the last few yrs. They decide to prank him, and it goes hilariously wrong. K-Pop embraces the prank and everything that goes with it so your heart drops in your chest when he realizes it was only a prank. It brings Ninni and K-Pop more together than before.

I loved Ninni's struggle with her final exam project, and how she relates to it using legos. It related so well to her struggles, and it defined her uniquely. And I adored the fact that K-Pop was a math genius. There were hilarious scenes...this is arguably the funniest book yet. I wish i could quote a ton here, but they are spoilers! Just trust me...You will laugh hard! Here are some that aren't spoilers:

"K-Pop grows serious. Sends a look at Doc. “Hey, man, can we make a bridge from the top floor of the Iota mansion to the Blossom house?” I have never seen Doc look this surprised before. “You’re not serious, are you?”“Yeah, I am. Look, we could have a room on each side of the street. It’d be like our own apartment.” Seraphina has caught up with the discussion. She turns her head toward us and bobs her head slowly like not a lick of what we’re saying makes sense."

"There’s so much petting going down, it makes me feel for cats in
general. No wonder they’re so big on glaring."

"No Blossom can date a Dude. It will rock the entire foundation on which we build our precarious Blossom Field Avenue existence. What do you think would happen if the scale tipped further in the Dudes’ favor? They would get the emotional upper hand over us, and bam!” She slashes the air with her hand. “The apocalypse.” Saki snickers, and Seraphina sends her one of her lethal stares. “There would be no more pranking. Our houses would go under . The Blossom house and the Dude den would be reduced to a glorious past, left in ruins like Pompeii.”

The best is when K-Pop finally realizes that Ninni was not pranking him about SPOILER. It was sweet and utterly hilarious. It brings the two houses together in an annoyingly beautiful way! This gives the boys a new depth that we haven't seen before, and considering they are all approaching graduation, it's warranted. K-Pop is the best when he supports Ninni and her confusion about the future.

The epilogue is a must. Get it free through a link after the book is over. And if you haven't read the first two books, get on it asap! You have co-workers or friends or neighbors that need to be pranked, and you might learn something valuable!

I received an ARC of this book and absolutely devoured it. This book is my favorite in the series so far, hands down. Ninni and K-Pop are seriously everything! They are so cute, and I’m absolutely convinced that K-Pop is a member of some hot K-Pop boy band that left me totally swooning during the entire book. Ninni is struggling to find herself artistically while also figuring out her feelings for K-Pop, which reminded me a little of my own personal growing pains when I was her age. I won’t spoil the twist (that I totally didn’t see coming), but I literally gasped out loud as it all unfolded. It added a whole new layer to the series that kept me reading for more.

As with the other books in the series, the pranks were the highlight of this book. Every time I think the pranking has run dry, another one pops up that has me laughing out loud. It was so fun to watch the Blossoms and the Dudes continue their prank war, to see their creativity shine through once again.

Sunniva did it again - she provided a funny, sexy, sassy read that is fantastic from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read the future books in this series!

Blossom Ninni and Dudes K-Pop story was different but still good, the pranks are pretty mellow but the relationship between Ninni and K-Pop made up for it, this was a cute fun read.

I love this series so much. I love all things Sunniva Dee for that matter but the #PrankLove series is just so much fun. The Blossoms and the Dudes capture everything you always wanted college to be and throws you in the midst no matter how long ago those days may have been (or, you know, like me, those were just yesterday 🤣.) With each book I think this is my favorite couple, but then the next one captures me as well. I really didn't expect K-Pop and Ninni to have much effect on me, but darned if I didn't end up simply adoring them too. You seriously can't go wrong with any Sunniva Dee, and, even if it seems slightly traitorous to my one track rockstar mind, she may be at her very best when it comes to this romcom series. Theoretically you could read these in any order, but I really feel this couple in particular will benefit from some prior knowledge of the series. Highest recommendations, of course.

I really love that the guys just decide they are in love with the girls and had to pursue them and convince them to acknowledge they are in love. I'm so hopeless, I'd fall immediately. It's fun listening to the girls' internal dialogue as they resist.

I love that there isn't a big black moment in this book. I enjoy a romance that can just be happy with a little internal struggle.

I also love the imagery in this book. Ninni is an illustrator (sequential arts), so we get more descriptions and colors 🎨 and I really enjoyed it. I loved hearing her describe K-Pop, obviously in love with him, but still resisting him.

This one was less prank-heavy, but the ones they pulled were so unique and fun!

K-Pop and Ninni are fantabulously, phenomenal!! I Flove Them!! This book has all the silly, insanity we expect from these prank obsessed Blossoms & Dudes, as well as the friendship and love! Ninni is obsessed with anime & art. She's created a comic based on the outrageous personalities she is surrounded by. And K-Pop has a major role in her story. The charming boy seems to charm his way into panties despite his sometimes silly actions and condom stealing ways, including Ninni's. He worships her. We get to know Ninni & K-Pop as more than the cosplaying nuts they can be. I love how sweet and tender he is with her. This books is filled with passion, humor, and love. Lots of love. So good!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I love these light-hearted stories. The battle between the Blossoms and the Dudes is still raging, with an undercurrent of sexual tension. K-Pop seems so sweet, he graciously accepts the pranks played on him, and apologises in his own way for the ones he carries out. I found this story so endearing with both Ninni and K-Pop being so adorable, I loved their quirkiness. I really wish I could see the pictures she drew, I had such images in my head!
