Dark romance lovers will enjoy this wild, spicy ride
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This book is not for the faint of heart. It was a crazy wild ride that will have you jumping off the fictional cliff with your eyes wide open, because you just cannot look away. Alexandrea Wellington has been claimed by her cruel Salvatore princes. She has managed to get a reprieve when she went to college in New York, but now they want her back with some urgency that they refuse to disclose to her. She has no choice but to comply to keep her twin brother Aiden safe and to make good on her grandfather's deal with the Salvatores. The deal was to marry one of them, but just as she finds the men attractive, they each have a characteristic trait (or two) that keeps her from wanting to say "I do." I was scared about the bully aspect of this read, and the prologue and the first couple of chapters did not exactly help my wariness. However, I am glad I stuck with the book. There are more layers to the big bad Salvatores than meets the eye, and we get to discover that character development along with Alex. Luca is clearly the Salvatore heir apparent to their throne overseeing a secret society, and while he may be considered as the golden child, being next in line holds certain crosses that he has to bear on his own. He keeps the most distance from Alex because he fears emotion and can sense early on that Alex might be capable of drawing it out of him. Marcello is probably the one closest and most sympathetic to Alex, but as the head of security for Salvatore Global, he has been forced to build a wall around his heart and be at the family's beck and call. Bastian is almost like Marcello to Alex, but his burden to carry is being a constant companion to Damian, keeping his brother's demons in check. And poor, poor Damian. A monster who never got the love he needed to keep his illness in check. None of his brothers really trust him, especially with Alex. But we soon discover that while they think they hold power over Alex, it is she that is their ultimate weakness. This book kicks off a trilogy and obviously ends in a cliffhanger, but the journey from start to ending is worth it. Like I said, this is not for the faint of heart as it is a dark romance (please check out the warnings), but if that is your jam, this will be a great read for you.

If you are looking for an erotic and enthralling dark romance, Cruel Princes is the one for you. I think that it is useful to get the prequel to this story Darkest Prince to understand the back story in this book. We have four brothers. The oldest brother Luca Salvatore is the leader and wields the power is brother by blood is Marcello who runs the security of the company. Their father Arlo Salvatore has trained his son Luca to take over for him and has his brothers Bastian and Damian who he adopted to help him settle scores for those that he needs taking care of. Arlo is Italian and head of his family and is essentially a billionaire. Arlo wants to be a part of the Founding father's society but the only way his family can become a part is to marry into the family of one of the founding fathers and that is where Alexandra and Adrian Wellington come into the picture. Alexandra is the only person that is of age to marry within the family and so her grandfather had made a pact with Arlo that one of his sons can marry her. They are all broken individuals in one way or the other. Alex has PTSD for the mental and physical abuse her mother inflicted upon her before their grandfather came and took them away from their mother. She would lock her in closets and starve her and just blame her for the reason her life was the way it was, but it was she who made her choices in life and got disinherited by her mother and father. Then there is Damian and Bastian. We finally found out that Damian has some type of disease that doctors have been trying to cure since he has been young. He doesn't know how to act with people not knowing if he is suppose to good or bad but he has his brother and best friend since they were young to calm him and keep him from hurting himself and other people. So, we have all these broken people and their one mission to is to keep Alexandra safe until Luca marries her and makes her Queen. She doesn't understand and she really could care less about being Queen, all she wants to do is paint, and she is good at it. The time was coming for Luca to put a ring on her finger, didn't happen. We find out that they have all been drugged and that Alexandra has been kidnapped, after all they have done to keep her safe. I have purchased the next story, and I am eager to find out what happens next with this group of young people, I am sure that the next book will be one exciting book, can't wait.

So this book is a little different than what I've been reading which is perfectly fine. You have your main female character Alex her twin brother that she needs by her side because of some PTSD she has from growing up. And then as you read more you know that in the timeline she comes in in high school where she meets the Salvatore brother's they are ruthless mean bullies. As time goes on she is now out of college she lives with her brother and it is now time to hand herself over to the Salvatore Brothers they now own her. This all comes from a deal from some secret society founding father thing. She doesn't understand it and the more I read I kind of understood it a little bit but it just didn't really click click with me because there's night there's founding families and everything else and it's just kind of too much to understand I guess in my world. If you can understand it then you know why they have to do the things they have to do and everything else.
The one thing that really gets me to the whole book is Alex is defiant she's sassy she's smart she knows what she wants and she's not going to settle for anything when it comes to the Salvatore Brothers. They are mean ruthless they don't love everything is a business trend action and they're doing it for power and money. When she is now living in their house a little by little she's breaking down the Walls of each guy first is Marcelo then it becomes bash and then Damien. Luca tries to form some kind of attachment like his brothers but in the end you realize that he just hates her for what her family did to his mom but you don't really know what they did he doesn't come out and say it so you really don't know why he hates her so much and is taking it out on her. Towards the end with the Russian brother after her because they want to sell her on the dark web because she is a virgin the brothers take her to the mansion where she loses her virginity to one of them or all of them. Now you figure out who is who in the dark mansion and and it leaves you playing the guessing game on what is happening. The story isn't bad I've read it in one day and I want to know what happens in the next book so yeah it's it's a four-star read it's different in a way that kind of keeps you interested cuz you want to know if she's going to fall in love are they going to fall in love it's it's a suspenseful bully romance

This book gave me mixed feelings!i couldn’t understand Lucas feelings, but all the boys treated her poorly in my opinion. Their relationship grew but the connection was a little bit loose for me. The book is good and I know that the second one is gonna be better and we will have more answers.

The Devils have returned, in the form of Luca, Marcello, Bastian and Damian, they have come for one specific reason: Alexandra, and they will not be leaving without her. Five. Years. That is how long she hasn’t seen them. She put distance between them and her and for good reason. They made her life at school a living hell, and she had no choice but to endure the bullying.

But before all that, her and her brother Aiden endured a life so cruel at the hands of there mother, the trauma so profound. It wasn’t until there grandfather gave them the reprieve that they sought, heirs to the Wellington fortune, one of wealth and privilege. The one thing that helped Alexandra through it all was art, and in that five years is what she focused on, but now, now the devils have come to collect and she has no choice but to return home, home to Devils’s Creek.

To honour the deal that was made between her grandfather and the Salvatore’s, for they owe the Salvatore’s. She is to wed a Salvatore, for her grandfather was a high ranking member of The Founders Society which oversees the The Devils Knights, leaving her no choice but to accept her responsibilities as the only female heir to the Wellington fortune.

Luca and Marcello are brothers, Bastian and Damian were adopted into the Salvatore family, but nonetheless they are all brothers. Brother’s with secrets, that are deadly, yet apart, they all have experienced their own trauma, trauma unique to them, where they have used different coping mechanism to help them deal.

Luca, Marcello, Bastian and Damian make Alex feel things, things she doesn’t want to feel, but she feels it all the same, that is why she denies herself, the longer she denies herself, the more they push her, to tease her, to please her, to give her what she needs, what she craves. For they know every thing about her, there is nowhere she can hide, where they won’t find her, for they will get what they want, and what they want is her.

Luca suffered a tragedy in his childhood, one he blames Alexandra for, and he is determined to make her pay in every which way he can, yet hiding behind his anger, there are ulterior motives, motives as to why he forced Alexandra back to Devil’s Creek, for her safety, she is the one thing, if her lineage is discovered, that could be leveraged against them, for she is there weakness, and one they will protect at all costs.

Alexandra suffers from complex PTSD, anything from sight, sound, smell, taste or touch could trigger an episode. Marcello seems to be the only one she responds to, to help calm her and keep her centred. They know they need to tread carefully, because if they don’t, they will pay the ultimate price.

Alexandra has a quick wit about her, she is strong and determined, and she will fight for herself, her future and her freedom, she knows this life is not for her, but she has no choice. Luca is determined to force her hand, he asserts his control and dominance, wields it like an iron fist, he won’t go down without a fight and will bend Alexandra to his needs, but Alexandra is a spitfire, and will not acquiesce, for she gives back two fold, giving back to Luca as good as she gets.

There enemies are ramping up there efforts, they want Alexandra, and they are determined to get her at all costs, but there is no way the Salvatore’s will leave her unguarded, there plans for Alexandra are escalating, and she needs to make a decision, for how far they are determined to take this, because Alexandra’s marriage to Luca is contingent to his plans, because he’s been patient enough, and Luca will go as far as he needs to go.

Alexandra’s passion is her art, the one thing that was most important to Luca’s mom, and a person Alexandra idolised. Their mothers were rivals, Alexandra’s mom always in competition with Luca’s mom. The one thing her mother tried to destroy was her passion for art, and revenge is a dish best served cold, and one her mother didn’t see coming, and it’s only then does Luca, Marcello, Bastian and Damian realise that Alexandra has a ruthlessness about her, that she is similar to them in ways, her blood thirstiness the catalyst of what’s to come.

For when Luca shares with Alexandra his moms private space, that she gets to see upfront the type of person his mom was, the skill and talent she had, but behind the paintings, tells a story, one she can only decipher, of love, loss and sacrifice, and when Alexandra explains it to Luca, gets him to really see, does he understand, that his mother believed she felt like a prisoner, and that Luca is doing the same to her, but he’s not, because he’s determined to set her free.

Luca, Marcello, Bastian and Damian are controlling, dominant, yet possessive lovers. They take what they want from Alexandra without consequence. The one thing they all want, they can’t have, so they take and give her pleasure and pain in other forms. The banter and foreplay is deliciously wicked, setting there pulses racing and hearts afire. Where she didn’t want them and there touch’s, now she craves them and there dirty talk, for they give her heightened experiences, obliterating her senses like never before.

With the threat still looming against Alexandra, everyone is on edge, Luca needs this union to happen sooner rather than later, exhausting there resources and putting precautions into place, taking actions to keep her safe at all costs. But it all comes to a head when Alexandra is found in an an unwitting situation, that fortunately she is able to get out with help the help on her devils.

As her relationship with Luca, Marcello, Bastian and Damian deepen, does she learn about who they are individually and together, what makes them tick, what drives them, but also the darkness that is deep inside of them. Being able to understand them, there dreams and passions, connects them together on a more intimate level.

And Alexandra is ready for them, she wants them more that’s her next breath, but they made a pact, and they’re going to keep to it. And in doing so they explore with her, her limits and boundaries, their kinks, exploring her pain and pleasure, her likes and dislikes.

And finally Alexandra gets her wish, when she is invited to The Mansion. When they get there, Alexandra is subject to an explicit set of rules, ones she complies with. Alexandra enters a world of opulence, where strangers indulge there sensuality, and Alexandra knows what she wants and she is determined they will give it to her and they do, in a night of undeniable unbridled passion, pleasure and pain do they take her innocence in a night they will all never forget, for she is there queen and they her devils.

And it is moments like these, when they let there guards down, knowing that where they are, they are safe, only to realise that they have been outsmarted by there enemies, there queen taken. There only hope is that there allies find her in times.

This book has it all dark why choose romance, possessive dominant alpha males, a strong sassy female who gives as good as she gets, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, deception, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, turns, truths and betrayal.

This story is told from multiple POV, it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the  readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story continues to unfold the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together.  The author definitely knows how to write and I’ll be coming back for more.

And those MF, MFM and MMFMM s*x scenes, including those BDSM elements were steamy, yet sensual, dirty, hot, intense, physical, provocative, it had all the angry angst, hate, jealousy, pleasure and passion one would except when Luca, Bastian, Marcello and Damian show there queen who they really are and takes them for all that they are, darkness and all. For they take what they want without consequence, each giving Alex the pain and pleasure she deserve, their possessive and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

    Onto book two!

Great character. I wanted to know more of Alex's background l know her twin looked out for her. I want to know why the Devils hated and loved her so much. They are cruel to her playing with her emotion but because the Devils are doing it to her it is also back firing on them. I think their Father has something to do with the Bravata but not sure yet into book 2
