    The thing I love most about this series is the relationship among these people that make Max and Leo’s team and circle of colleagues and friends. They all have each other’s back no matter what. And Max and Leo are on fire. They are spicy and sweet all at the same time. Patricia Logan knows how to balance the horrific crimes the team is investigating and keep it just light enough to keep pulling you through the whole thing. I need to read the related series. Also don’t read this one if you haven’t read the first book.

    As usual there is not enough stars for a Patricia Logan book! I have no idea how that woman can come up with all that scum of the earth and still be a grandmother that bakes cookies!!! What ever! Just keep up the good work!
    Leo and Max are still chasing the latest scums but now we have a twist because Max is now being stalked!
    Just sayin they better no hurt Bruce or Flay because I will come and get them!
    Snow is down and Max is temporarily running the show and all the agents nerves are on edge. In other words you are not going to draw an easy breath until you get to the heafn!!!!!!

    So, I kind of didn't realize this was book two when I requested it as an ARC. I totally thought it connected to one of the author's other series and was totally clicking to request without even reading the synopsis. But as I was reading I won't say that I regretted the decision, because I totally didn't, but I definitely wish I had started with book one.

    The men were fierce and strong and I really liked that. The story progressed well, though some of it felt a little draggy, and I thought the kind-of-conclusion worked for what was going on here. I'm looking forward to the third book. So even though I started after the ball got rolling I didn't feel lost, just like details would have been really helpful to have, a certain kind of knowing was missing for me with the characters and flow and that was one hundred percent on me.

    Leo on Fire by Patricia Logan is Book 2 in the FBI File series, and this book took me by surprise after my lukewarm review of book one Prince of L.A, and I must admit I was wrong about the series though I had also mentioned that I am not giving up on the series and the author, and I am so glad that I did not and continued reading book 2.
    My heart went out to Leo in book one and continues to bleed for him as I read on. Though both Max and Leo make a striking couple and work well together the story on the whole was sad and disturbing.
    Max, Leo, and their team of efficient detectives led by Snow are on the trail of a sick psychopath who copies the killings done by Leo’s father years back also known as the ‘skinner’.

    There is a lot of action and mystery surrounding the case and Leo and Max are faced with killer bikers, copycat serial killers, and a lot of gruesome horrors as they chase the leads, trying to find out who is the leader of the sick cell and are running out of time before there is a next victim.

    In spite of the horrors, they are faced with murder, kidnapping, and a series of crimes, Leo and Max fall deeply in love and their bond is even stronger than when they first met. Having a great support team fighting this battle, they fight as one unit looking out for each other’s back. The unity and friendship between the team, the ribbing and joking between them all is so refreshing amongst the horrors of the crime.

    Patricia Logan’s style of writing flows easily but at the same time keeps you interested and excited to know what comes next.
    Jumping to book 3, 'A Thousand Vermillion Stars' as soon as I post this review and can’t wait to get my hands on book 4 in the series.

    Citizen are bieng captured and murdered in the most gruesome manner. Mixed in the action is the drug trade. Many of the ictoms were caught by meth aditicton. So place is safe, school home gym or the street. One suspect worked within the law enforcement. Plenty of blood and danger. The love of two team members helps to ease the trauma.

    A really good read as Leo and Max are faced with a copycat killer. This continues from book one so you must start there. All the team are involved including our much loved ATF team. The relationship between Max and Leo continues to grow and turns to love. Leo is under pressure and Max is there to support him. Max faces a different pressure and Leo is there for him also. This series is growing so well and is fast becoming an equal to Death and Destruction.

Each individual plot line is wrapped up but there’s an over arcing story that will continue into the next book.
    A must for police mystery lovers with the added bonus of having an MM romance at its centre.

    I absolutely loved the book. It's my favourite genre MM combined with law enforcement, crime and murder. I love all my favourite characters and I adore Leo and Max together.
