    I've always wanted to dive into an age-gap Daddy Romance, but this book didn't quite hit the mark. While there are Daddy/Boy scenes, the age-old issue I was hoping for wasn't there. The age-reversed Daddy/Boy dynamic was even more captivating.

    The story itself isn't overly complicated and takes place over just two weeks around Christmas. Matthew, a middle-aged gay man who's newly come out, finds himself accidentally stuck in a town. Out of curiosity and a desire for self-exploration, he bids on a charity auction in a gay club—A One-night Christmas Daddy Experience. And He wins it. The Christmas Daddy, Eric, is a skilled Daddy/boy Kink player who recently went through a heartbreak with his long-term boy and is cautiously looking for a fresh start. The twist? Daddy Eric is actually younger than Boy Matthew. Can this Daddy/Boy play still work? The answer is a resounding YES, and their chemistry is off the charts. They're a perfect match like they were made for each other. It's a white Christmas that takes them to heavenly heights. But once the Christmas snow melts away, reality sets in, and it's because Daddy lacks the courage to face it. Don't worry, though—there's a HEA guarantee. The boyish Daddy eventually grows into a strong and responsible figure, fully committed to protecting and being with his Boy forever.

    The Daddy/boy Kink scenes in this book are incredibly steamy and sexy. The reversed-age dynamic adds layers to the characters. Boy Matthew is the submissive partner, but he turns out to be wise and strong within the relationship. On the flip side, Daddy Eric dominates the scenes, but his lack of confidence in real relationships needs the care and understanding of someone like Matthew. The intricate interactions between the two MCs have me fascinated.

    Overall, this book delivers a satisfying mix of sexiness and emotion. It's been a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience.

    A wonderful exploration between a sexy daddy and a boy who is just now beginning to find himself in his early 40’s.

    Matthew finds himself at a club one night by chance, and finds himself inexplicably drawn to the offering of a night with a daddy and takes the chance. Erik is an experienced daddy who has had his heart recently broken, and is only willing to offer his body, no emotions allowed. What is only meant to be an easy interaction between them is anything but from their very first meeting. It’s much longer than I am used to for a holiday story, but Leta does not waste any of it with extraneous prose. It’s incredibly steamy while being incredibly endearing at the same time. My only complaint is the constant use of a certain slang word which led to me not being able to take the steamy scenes as seriously as I would have liked as I found myself either laughing or cringing, and sometimes both. This is an excellent Christmas story and John Solo shines as always. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

    The story is about Matthew Angel and Erik. Matthew mistakenly goes into a BDSM conference room after his accounting conference. He sees Erik's setup of a night with a Daddy. Matthew has lived in the closet his whole life up until recently. He sees this and knows this is for him. Then they meet in a coffee shop.
    Don't they both just feel it's all over for the both of them. Don't they know their will be no one else yet? No. But the sexual tension is high from the first moment.
    Fortunately they were blessed with more than one night because of snow.

    I loved the premise. It was a sweet one with good steam.
    It kept me engaged the whole way through.
    I personally didn't find it too long but I genuinely enjoyed the characters and the story so I didn't notice the length of it.

    It wasn't even too much of a struggle to imagine Matthew as a boy despite his age... I think the key is to disconnect from the reality of it- it's highly unlikely that we have an actual Matthew in this world.

    I'd really like to read the side characters stories .. like Brandon's or Paul's..

    I know it’s a little early for a Christmas book but I’ve been wanting to read this one for ages and finally did!

    Matthew is in his 40s, recently out, coming out only after his very conservative parents passed away. He is out of town on business and misses his flight and so stays an extra night at his hotel. There is a BDSM auction event on and he decides to check it out. He is drawn to an auction for a December Daddy experience, one night with a daddy, the pictures of daddy Eric with a boy calls out to something in Matthew and he puts a bid in - even though the minimum bid is set super high.

    He wins the auction, and meets up with Eric to discuss terms and boundaries. Eric is expecting a younger man, he is 35 and hasn’t been on the scene for a while since his last boy left him heartbroken. When he sees Matthew he is instantly attracted to him, but assumes that’s not who he is meeting and sits down to wait, when Matthew approaches him he is surprised. They have such an intense conversation, Matthew opening up about his family and that he is a virgin.

    They end up spending the whole day together. Their connection instant and perfect. But Eric sends Matthew on his way after dinner with his first 2 kisses, saying he will be his third kiss the follow on weekend.

    Matthew turns up at Eric’s country cabin, nervous but excited. They share such beautiful moments together, Matthew is so gorgeous and sweet, I was right in my feels when he spoke about his past and about himself. Eric uses his past, and his shame to coax him out of his shell and show him that he is beautiful and when the a snow storm hits and they are stuck at the cabin for a few extra nights they get to explore even more together.

    Neither want the weekend to end, but Eric is du ious about the long distance and declines Matthew’s advance to see where their relationship can go. But only a few days away from each tone and Eric changes his mind, driving 5 hours to see Matthew.

    This story was so sweet, so emotional, fabulous spice and just a joy to listen to!
