She's a dual US-Canadian citizen who has one foot on each side of the border at any given time. A Pacific Northwesterner to her core, Harper loves the rain, and spending all day curled up with a book is a top-rated activity. On those rare PNW sunny days you can find her on her back deck with her book, usually with a big gin & tonic.

When not reading, writing or thinking about those things, you can often find her watching hockey, football, or Seinfeld reruns. Harper believes firmly in drinking champagne for no reason at all.

    Delightful to read such a feel-good novella with mature adult protagonists. Case and Matt, albeit more fit than anyone in their 40s should be, are settled in their lives but have that random encounter. In another genre, fated mates, but Robson mixes hot, hot times between the sheets with the psychology of fate, choice , and change. Here communication happens as the two men find happiness.

Fate, God, unknowing mutual friends, a snow storm, whatever!! ...brings them together around Christmas time at the mutual friends' cabin in the mountains and snow storms keep them there for several days.     I very much enjoyed this story about about a divorced 40+ year old and what happens when he feels a truly strong mutual attraction to another 40+ man at a hotel bar. This had a really entertaining storyline and the second book I read by Harper Robson in the Hot Dam Homes series. Though I haven't read it yet I own the first book in the series. I like reading about mature men especially if it's one of their first times.

    The spectacular scenery and beautiful home was offset by the terrific snow storm that kept the men stuck in their location. The forced proximity made the men come to some very startling realizations about how they truly felt about each other. But there was no solution to the fact that they lived states away from each one. I highly recommend this sweet story.

    What a great storyteller! I loved this plot and characters. It would have been 5 stars but there are so many grammatical and punctuation errors in the book it was a little distracting. I don’t see how a simple word program would not have caught them all. Proofread many times before publishing please as you have a great talent. Just my annoyance at reading them.
