Lane MM Paranormal Fantasy Romance (Fire Ridge Pride Book 7) Kindle Edition

4.1 out of 5 stars 27 ratings

The battle continues as the Witches choose another target. Secrets are exposed when the Hand-Me-Down Boys(Demi-deuil) of Fire Ridge Pride join forces with the Blood-rights of Amber Light Pride. Who lives, who dies, and who is caught in the middle?

Hide and seek becomes a dangerous game when Alisdaire Di Gatti, Blood-right and grandson of the Fire god, goes missing. Every attempt to locate him fails until the God Council mates him to the only Hand-Me-Down Boy who can find the living.

Elijah Di Gatti is crushed when the mating contract arrives for Lane Barstow, and it includes his brother’s name. He knows Lane is honorable and would save Daire, no matter what. Elijah also knows his brother is conceited and cares only for himself. Elijah wants Lane any way he can have him and makes a blood pact with the goddess. She grants him permission to help Lane when things go wrong- and they will.
Will the Witches succeed and take Lane down, too, or can Elijah save Lane’s life and win his heart?

We find what you left behind.
All blood bleeds red, but it does not always bleed magic.

Fire Ridge Pride is just wild. It has a wild world building. It has wild characters. I couldn’t understand if the gods and goddesses were actually immortals of what we think of as gods. The relationships were also wild. Characters would get adopted every where. Just wild.

I really enjoyed this things were twisted up and annoying for a bit but entertaining and unexpected at times but everything ended up great between Elijah lane and daire and learning a bit more about how things work was interesting

This story is book 7 in the Fire Ridge Pride series. Per usual Jae Greyn has blown my mind once again. As I always do, I reread the previous book in the series before starting the latest book. I need a refresher before I start the new one so I can get caught back up. It was fun reading Blue's and Dorian's beginning again.

I don't want to give anything away because I hate spoilers... but a few things happen in this book that made me very happy and will make you happy as well.

This is not a series where you can jump in at any point, none of these are standalone books. Timelines are interwoven throughout the books. The world that Jae has built and is building has become larger, mysteries abound, and truths are revealed. I haven't a clue how this will all get tied up.

This story is about Lane, son of Lou and Camp, you can read the book blurb for more info about the story itself. All the usual characters are present and new ones have been added to the mix. I'm still loving on Blue and Dorian, but Lane is worming his way into my heart as well.

Thanks for another great read, can't wait to see what's next in this continuing story.

Definitely a series where you can tell the author hasn't gotten tired and just wants to wrap things up. Jae Greyn keeps rolling out the twists and turns and developing new aspects of this world in every book. Loved this one with its complicated relationship between brothers Daire and Elijah and how Lane gets drawn into that.

It never grows old! This story is about life. The twists and turns, the unexpected, the unknown knowns and the known unknows. Teriffic story. Good to see old friends and make new ones. The series must be read in order because characters and situations are interwoven. Sometimes, it's hard to keep up with who is doing what to/with whom, but it works. You are left entirely satisfied reading these books. Nicely done! I received an ARC and am happily leaving a review.
