    This story started out so wild and wacky and full of slapstick comedy FUN. Then it settled into a quick-paced but truly adorable second chance romance that worked specifically because it was two people who never got over each other reconnecting. Had it been a first-chance romance, I would have been frustrated by the pacing and insta-love, but with the shared backgrounds of these two characters, it worked for this story. That being said, I'm impressed with Charlie Cochet's ability to cover so much ground in the space she does. Not once did the story drag or skip over anything, and I walked away feeling like I got everything I wanted out of these characters. (Except I'm happy to revisit them if she ever wants to write some bonus stories, because OMG do I love these guys!)

    For those who tend to be wary of second chance romance, family tragedy broke this couple up, not cheating or anything unforgivable. Also Gage's aborted wedding in the beginning results in a very immediate breakup, so don't worry about anyone getting away with toxic relationship shenanigans.

    The characters are hilarious, I LOVE Jett's music family (the Queen's Hart band members), and what made me happiest was that I got both a great and believable villain, as well as characters who actually talk things out like adults rather than a plot that relies on miscommunication.

    Five stars, and I'm DYING for the sequel!!

    Charlie Cochet is a 1-click auto-buy for me and Aisle Be There is a spin-Off of her Four Kings Security series. And while I love to binge read, Charlie has so many irons in the fire right now that this one was a long time coming. Written with her usual wit, snark and humor this was a great read from start to finish. When Gage literally runs away from his wedding with his finance's father's goons chasing him, he ducks into a crowded tent on Miami Beach and falls into the arms of his college sweetheart who is still the only man he's ever loved. He just happens to now be a rock star who tours as the front man for his late father's mega-star band. Jett asks Gage to come on the Florida tour with him which will finish there in Miami in a month and they fall for each other all over again. Loved it and can't wait for the next book, which unfortunately will not be released until January '24.

    5 full stars and more for this book that made me laugh out loud so many times and had me swooning over MCs Gage and Jett and their second chance at a HEA.

    I adore Charlie Cochet's writing, not only for her stories, but for her humor and it was on full display in this book mostly with/by Gage, from his situations to his dialogue.

    If you like hot, sexy romances, with a side of humor and a bit of angst, I highly recommend this book!

    Charlie Cochet is an autobuy author for me after her Thirds series and her Four Kings Security series. This Runaway Grooms series actually has ties to the Four Kings series and I found that delightful, with cameos from the security guys. Aisle Be There also has two tropes that I particularly like, the runaway bride/groom trope is entertaining for sure. The second chance romance is especially a favorite of mine. Jett and Gage were in a past relationship that ended on a sad and sour note. Their running into each other again was a total fluke, but after adrenaline fueled escape was over, all the feelings flooded back. Both characters were sweet and I was happy to see them finally get their happy ending. A shout out to the other band members of Queen's Hart. They were such awesome secondary characters, I wish I could just hang out with them on the road. Can't wait to read more of this series and for this book to be out on audio, hopefully.

    What I liked about this story of the tribute singer (his father had been the rock star) and his boyhood crush was the fact that the pair, when they re-met years later, really enjoyed being together. They had fun, they bantered, they weren't angst-y like we get in so many rock star romance books.
    Of course the tribute band was based on Adam Lambert and Queen...

    This book was so much fun, I loved it! Their banter was hilarious from murder birds to crabs. Boyfriends at one time until Jett’s life imploded and he ran until they are brought back together in epic fashion due to Jett’s life imploding. I liked how Skip and he moved on as friends, Bas got what was coming to him, and Jett and Gage made things work. Really liked this one!

    Funny, sweet, and turning its head on the expected angst, this story was a delight!

    There is a wild bit of circumstance at the beginning where Gage runs away from his wedding but to run into his ex-boyfriend Jett......a rock star at a major interview. It isn't entirely clear how Gage pretty much fell past security and into the whirlwind he creates, but once together Jett immediately swoops in to save him and take him on a cross country concert tour trip. Feelings are brought up, questions are asked, and love is on the table! It is pretty clear which way to go there but the journey with these two is undeniably a delight.

    It seemed from the opener of this book that there was going to be long and drawn out angst. Concerns about past relationships, leaving the wedding, a total lack of communication that would forever stymie any chance of a relationship. But that wasn't at all what happened. There were problems, but it was more about certain fears and life decisions than anything. They were also totally willing to talk, but equally willing to give each other time to do so. It was really refreshing and actually made for both the best connections in this book and the best humour.

    While some of this wild ride does require a suspension of disbelief, it was shockingly easy to do so. The characters are fun and engaging, both the main pair and those around them. There are intriguing asides from that hint to possible future story lines without overshadowing the main story and there is some good addressing of issues, even when it isn't romance issues. It was a fun read with a great journey and a promise of more to come!
