Love blooms where you least expect it...

Newly divorced and ready to make a fresh start, Austen Simms finds herself working for a slowly failing book store. Wanting to save the business, she organizes meet and greets with famous gay authors. First up on her list is Francesca Bianco, known as much for her mega hit Miami Nights series as she is for her ravishing beauty.

Mired in the worst slump of her writing career, romance novelist Francesca Bianco is in dire need of a change. When a small business offers to bring her to gay-friendly Summit Springs, Colorado for a podcast interview and a meet and greet with fans, she jumps at the chance, hoping the change of scene will get her creative juices flowing again.

Driving through town, Francesca sees a beautiful young woman picking flowers by the side of the road and is instantly struck with the idea for her next book,
Wildflower Muse. Getting out of the car, she finds herself kissing the gorgeous stranger. Little does she know the mysterious woman is the same one who brought her to Colorado in the first place. Austen.

As they get to know each other, the two women realize they have more in common than meets the eye. Does this budding relationship have what it takes to bloom… or will it wither and die with the chill winds of autumn?

Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.

Sick of the slogging rat-race of her 9-5 job, Pandora Pine put pen to paper (literally!) to make her ambition of becoming a romance novelist a reality. She cut her teeth in the dog-eat-dog world of fan fiction, still dreaming of the day when she would be a published author.

In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot. Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.

Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens, and handsome men falling in love with each other.

Austen had ended up in Summit Springs when her car broke down. After her divorce she wanted a new life. Working in the bookstore was great and when the owners approved her ideas to improve business she invited her favourite sapphic author to their first author event and podcast interview. The rest is a fairytale romance from meeting in a meadow to the end of the story.

This was a good one. I admit that I am a little but in love with Summit Springs, CO. I liked the characters in this one, but my favorite was Austen and her cat Mr Darcy. Austen is trying to save a bookshop stuck in the past and Francesca is trying to get past her writer’s block. Austen sets up a book podcast with Francesca as her first guest and the other woman finds her muse hidden in the Colorado Rockies. It’s a fast read, both in pace and in length. These two waste no time when they find instant attraction and sizzling chemistry. Austen may never have been with a woman before but it explains a lot about her life before her divorce. This story is worth a read. The ending felt a bit rushed and I wondered what just happened when I got to the ending but overall, it was a decent book.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series so far and Wildflower Muse is just as fun to read. We have a blocked writer and a bookstore employee that is desperate to keep the place open, even if the owners don't seem to care. The characters are well written and full of life, the pace of the book keeps you interested, and the overall story is entertaining. Francesa and Austen are adorable together.

𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦 was my first read in this series {imo, so far they’ve all sounded a bit cheesy}.

𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦 can definitely be classified as an insta-love-mistaken-as-lust trope. That’s pretty much the only reason I held on through the kind of unbelievable s€x scenes.

I disagree with the bi-awakening, however. Nothing revealed by Austen in any way indicates that she is at all attracted to men. It seems more that she thought she “should be”.

Not my best review, but … it’s a cute premise. I adored the wildflower scene, and the town of Summit Springs sounds lovely.

This is a steamy, low angst, bi awakening story. Francesca Bianco is an author of gay romance stories. She has had some success and should be currently writing her next story, but she is blocked from writing currently and the stress of this is making her not happy. Then while not writing one day she gets an interesting email that she can not refuse.

Austen has moved to Summit Springs Colorado trying to recover from her disastrous marriage. She felt at home here and could breathe for the first time. She works for a small town book store but it is barely surviving and if something does not happen soon it will have to be closed.

The crisis point is a gut punch and heartbreaking. The resolution point is appropriately cheesy and awww factor. The epilogue paints a hopeful and sweet picture. This is a quick and uplifting read. I look forward to more of this genre from this author.

This was a cute short story! It is a departure for Pine for certain but she nails it. Franchesca and Austen are both charming. The Summit Springs have all been enjoyable and this is no different. I enjoyed seeing the typical rom com format outfitted to a FF story. I hope this isn't the last time Pandora Pine writes FF

I was immediately sold on this one by the premise of Austen's plan to save the bookstore as I am a total sucker for any story involving bookstores, lol. What kept me reading was the characters. Austen and Francesa are interesting women whose careers are in a bit of a low spot who find each other at just the right time. There is instant attraction, but they have to work for their relationship and I wanted to follow them through every step. Again, Summit Springs is a place I'd dearly love to be able to visit irl.

I really enjoyed this book. The ladies were so adorable together and so cute when the flirted with each other. The story was great and it kept my Interest through out the whole book.

I am a huge fan of Pandora Pine, so every book she writes is a must for me. I am not used to reading a lot of FF romance but I made an exception because the author is one of my favorites and WOW! The story is interesting, with just a few angsty situations, in the middle of a sweet romance and some steam. The book caught me from the beginning to the very last page. I was intrigued when discovering this is a multiauthor series and I am looking forward to reading more stories in this amazing series!

Wildflower Muse was easily the best book in the Summit Springs series I've read. The characters were brilliant and the setting amazing. I love Pandora's Cold Case Psychic Universe books so if she decides to write any more FF romance, I'm in!!
