Prince of Lies by Lucy Lennox 5/5 Stars 3/5 Spice Tropes: MM Romance, Mistaken Identity, Billionaire I absolutely adored this book! Despite both main characters initially lying to each other, they were so charming and loveable. I loved how they progressed personally, and also as a couple. I simply loved dorky Rowe and the secretly sweet Bash. The humor was great, especially as poor Rowe tried to impersonate a billionaire. He really not a good liar! 😂 So awkward, but so hilarious! And there was a surprisingly sweet side story that I don't want to spoil for you, but after the humor drew me in,  the heart made me stay up reading until I finished! I would highly recommend this one!

    I started backwards with Landry’s book, but if you are reading this series read it from the beginning so you can see how each character grows and also it will make Landry’s book much more enjoyable. Loved Bash and Rowe, it was love at first sight, but the laughs were a beautiful addition to the book. The twist was obvious but didn’t prevent from enjoying the book

    I have to admit though , i didn't like the title picture . Rowe is supposed to be angelic looking , sort of innocent etc. His lies are born out of desperation , while the person on the cover looks shifty and not in the least bit angelic .

    This was a good and well written story, one I really enjoyed reading, and Im looking forward to the rest of the series...
    The characters are funny and kept me laughing through the whole book. Lucy has a wonderful wit that shines through.
    The only thing that threw me off a bit was some of the older fashioned language. There were a few phrases that seemed a bit of a stretch coming from the mouth's of 2 guys in their 20s/30s in a story set in a current time..
    I'm usually good at suspending reality for literary license, but they felt out of place for the setting and the characters, a small recommendation to consider during the editing process...

    This books hits all the right notes for me. It is Lucy at her best combining romance and humour. The MCs are so great and she gives the right amount of background so that you wind feeling you know them. When a book makes you laugh out loud while you are reading then it is just the ticket. You can feel the supporting characters and how they interact with the MCs. I highly recommend this book but be careful because you will want to read it in one sitting so don't start it close to bedtime.
