Publisher's summary

Wait for me. Never let me go.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in hell, the only two survivors trapped in a catastrophic tunnel collapse. But when rescue comes, I discover he has secrets darker than I could have guessed. He disappears from my life as quickly as he came, and I can’t afford to chase after him when I have to raise my daughter alone.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno six years later, on a bright summer afternoon, cleaning the lobby of a small-town bank. But he’s still running, and I’m struggling to keep my little family afloat.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in three feet of snow, surrounded by garbage and filth, after we lost everything. Because sometimes a tatted bad boy and a shy dad who loves knitting are destined to be together, no matter how many years and miles and memories pull us apart. No matter how many times we have to start over.

If we refuse to be broken, I believe someday we’ll find each other for the last time.

An epic, moving story of second chances and love that defies all odds, featuring a double gay-for-you relationship full of first times, hurt/comfort, a demisexual main character, and mental health representation!

This book contains some mature content related to mental illness and violence. For a full list, see the author's note in the front of the book using the "look inside" feature.

Guts and determination

If you are looking for a story that could have easily been titled Persistence, then this is the one for you. Jackson and Oliver keep meeting and trying to make everything work but sometimes, wanting something with all your heart and loving someone with all your heart isn't enough to make it happen easily. These two find each other through things that would have broken many people but they don't give up. I really enjoyed this as a dual narration by DiCosimo and Baker. They captured these two characters perfectly and their work together blended so well.

Good book

I enjoyed the book. They spent too much time apart but the book had a happy ending.

Show Me Wonders by Riley Nash - 4⭐️

Tropes/Themes:
-MM contemporary romance
-Second chance (it takes several years before they reach their HEA)
-Forced proximity via a shared traumatic experience
-Hurt/Comfort
-Single dad
-Demisexual hero
-Mental health rep (agoraphobia, anxiety, depression, PTSD)
-Dual POV
-Book #3 in an interconnected standalone series (but book #2 would give you some good backstory about the legal aspects of this book)

I don’t know what to say other than I absolutely LOVED this. Don’t get me wrong, it was super heavy. It dealt with a lot of distressing content and emotional themes, so be sure to look up the content warnings before picking this up. But this was heartbreakingly beautiful.

CWs for disaster/mass casualty situation, claustrophobia, agoraphobia, panic attacks (on page), suicidal ideation, gang/criminal activity, gun violence

Every book in the series is amazing and I cannot choose a favorite! However, Jackson and Victor from book 1 are my favorites and I just need to adopt them!! These books are a must read!

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧Gripping & Emotional!

Riley Nash continues to wow me with another amazing novel set in their “Water, Air, Earth, Fire” series. I have enjoyed each book in the series, seems like the next one is always my favorite, I can not that the books keep getting better because it would be unfair and not do the previous books justice because they are all great. This third book, a standalone, is Jackson and Oliver’s story, a wonderfully written story that is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Oliver and Jackson meet under unusual circumstances, they both survived a train crash and tunnel collapse, and spent time together with hopes of being rescued. They bonded then, but when the rescuers finally get them out, it is back to reality, Jackson is taken away in cuffs and Oliver gets to see the love of his life, his daughter Megan. He still wanted Jackson, despite finding out what he did, but Jackson did not get back to him. But fate was not done for these two and they meet again, Jackson was not in any better position in life. Oliver struggles with PTSD and is trying to make the best life he can with his daughter, who is absolutely adorable. The chemistry between Oliver and Jackson is sizzling hot, but Jackson is hesitant of becoming part of Oliver’s life again, he does not want to bring trouble his way. He could only deny himself and that chemistry so long before giving in, but he knew there would be no forever for him and when his past comes back to haunt him he needs to take off again, leaving Oliver heartbroken. Oliver never gave up on him or himself and the two finally get what they deserve, each other, love, a family and best of all a happily ever after. I loved how this story was told and how it all played out, it is beautifully plotted with a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Riley Nash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Riley Nash cast the perfect narrators to bring their characters and story to life. Liam DiCosimo and Wyatt Baker did an amazing job portraying these characters, humanizing them with their emotions, giving each a voice that was fitting and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Amazing

I adored the ebook of this and the audiobook is also amazing. It has great tension in the early chapters, the narration does a really good job portraying the sense of fear and claustrophobia of being trapped inside the collapsed tunnel. It’s a truly beautiful story, both skillfully written and performed. I especially loved Oliver’s singleminded mission to find Jackson. No matter what. It’s intense and gripping and wonderfully romantic at the same time. A love story that feels epic in scope. Loved it.

Another AMAZING narration with Liam DiCosimo!

I have yet to find an audiobook Liam DiCosimo has narrated that I don't like. His performance is SO strong you feel what the characters are going through! He's also the only narrator that can get me to tear up<not easy to do.

As for this audiobook, both guys did a wonderful job portraying Oliver and Jackson. I already loved the book and the story but these guys brought their story to life!

heartbreaking and heartwarming

Ollie and Jax’s story is just as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming. They meet while trying to survive a tunnel collapse. Their relationship spans numerous years and multiple second chances. It’s an opposites attract story where they are opposites in every way: background, size, personality, mentality. But, they loved each other and they never gave up. The narration by Liam DiCosimo and Wyatt Baker made a really good story even better.

Steamy, heartbreaking wrapped in a cute little bow

Just when I think Riley can't top his previous story, He hits me with all the feels. If Show Me wonders doesn't make you laugh, cry and throw things, you aren't doing it right.

Riley Nash creates a beautiful picture of hurt men needing comfort and family, of which they find within each other. He breaks my heart but by the end finds a way to put it back together. He makes me remember the first feelings of falling in love each time I read one of his couple's stories. Each time I fall for these characters and want more of them. His stories make me believe in love even more every time. Seriously, if you're looking for a new author who writes moving stories of love, hurt/comfort, found family and all the steam, look no further than Riley Nash!

Riley picks the most wonderful narrators for the characters he wants to bring to life, Liam DiCosimo and Wyatt Baker make me love these characters so much. They bring so much life and depth the already deep stories.

Ugh broke my heart then glued it back together

Jax and Ollie are so broken in different ways, but together they sort of made a whole functional person. The way they met was so terrible, and I think if they didn’t believe they were going to die their relationship may not have begun, but once it did, they were bound together. That they were able to keep finding and losing each other was amazing and hard each time it fell apart. The HEA was immensely satisfying!
