I ✨️ d e v o u r e d ✨️ this book! It's a short and sweet story (under 300 pgs), but I fell in love with Sebastian and Christian right away. The way Sebastian's anxiety is written had me feeling like I was right there with him, experiencing the same emotions. And the way Christian accepted him exactly as he was and stepped up to take of him when he needed it melted my heart.     I saw an instigram ad for this book and downloaded it immediately. It was *INCREDIBLE* I was so hooked and finished the book in nearly one sitting. Sebastian is so sweet and I love how he and Christian connected so quickly. They both just felt this pull and I kinda liked that limbo of waiting until they both realized they were feeling the same thing. ugh and the needy like, very touchy way Sebastian is with Chris? I couldn’t get enough. The story was nice and low drama, but wasn’t boring at all. Seeing the way that Christian helped with Sebastians anxiety and how he cared for him was lovely. Really looking forward to the next book!

    While I did enjoy their story and the spicy scenes were spicy! 🌶️ 5 out 5. I did feel like their feelings were kinda rushed. It was a short time span and they were already loving each other. I could make an argument that they spent a lot of time together and were both instantly attracted to each other but it still felt kinda rushed. At least the loving each other part

    TW: Anxiety attacks. Sebastian is wound pretty tight and gets overwhelmed. He has suffered from panic attacks frequently. Christian helps calm his mind and ground him. I thought the portrayal of anxiety was done very well!

    The only reason I rated it 3.75 stars is because of the insta love feeling in some parts as well as their lack of communication. Their relationship started off as a business deal at first. They signed a contract to collab but started developing feelings. And instead of speaking to one another, they assumed and kept blurring the lines. It was frustrating.

    Other that that, I loved both MMC. They’re extremely likeable. There is no third act breakup! And they really do care for one another 😍 Hopefully we get to see more of them in the other books.

    I first read this story as a shorter novella that I instantly fell in love with. The guys are hot, the scenes are steamy, and there's a great romance between likeable men that feels real. I couldn't help myself and bought this volume when it came out since I didn't mind rereading such a great story. And here it was improved upon. I adore Linden Bell's writing. I own every book they've written and will do so as long as they write stories. I love every one. This whole series is worth getting into, and this is a great jumping off point. Then you'll be intrigued enough to read all of the books about the guys at the gym, which are as equally fantastic.

    This was a quick and easy read that was more entertaining than I expected. The story itself is not super deep and is too short to really delve enough into the story and characters to make an impression but the book itself is fun and a good start to a series as long as you’re not looking for anything too serious.

    Sebastian and Christian definitely felt a bit insta lovey together. Their whole awkward meet cute encounter was hilarious, mostly because of Sebastian being so flustered, but at the same time I found myself having to remind myself often while reading this book that Sebastian was supposed to be 30ish in this book. He read so much younger and came off really childish sometimes.

    I did enjoy the representation of his anxiety and how it was handled in the story but I wish we had gotten more about how it all started for him and how he’s dealt with it and will continue to deal with it. I don’t like books where a condition such as anxiety is shown as being almost “fixed” by their relationship and this one definitely started to feel that way.

    I appreciate that despite the camming aspect to the story, there was no other person drama. The side characters were fun and I definitely want to read the next book but I’m disappointed that everything in this book felt a bit surface level.
