Haven (Operation Justice Force Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 782 ratings

For years Link and Eagle have danced around their attraction for each other, and neither one is willing to cross the line from friendship to lovers.

Link doesn’t want to lose what they have.

Eagle lets things go, following Link’s lead.

But ignoring their attraction isn’t working anymore, and one more spark ignites their mounting passion. Can they truly make the leap from best friends to lovers? They were brothers-in-arms through the military and are now co-workers—can becoming involved beyond that even work? Not to mention they are complete opposites… One man is laid back and easygoing and the other—not so much.

When one explosive encounter leaves Link pissed off and Eagle contrite, they’ll have to do some hard work to repair their rocky bond.

Mix in a bomb, drug dealers, gangs, and illegal drugs with kids involved and Link and Eagle will have a lot to focus on as they try to fix things between them and tackle their building desire.

Come along for the action-packed ride in typical Reese Knightley style as Link and Eagle kick ass on bad guys, save the day, and attempt to navigate love.

Eagle and Link happiness has finally found a happily ever after and it was amazing. The story was on point and I do so enjoy how Reese tie in real life scenery into the story. Eagle and Link have been so protective of each other and would get a person straight if they felt the other was in danger. I enjoyed reading their love story and a little misunderstanding almost ended their relationship forever. But the danger of their job made them realize they needed each other and would always have their backs. This mission saved a young man who was being abused by a gang but also by his brother. I enjoyed the ending. Reese books are always worth reading, you never be disappointed. I can’t till the next book, I know it is going to be good.

First, I was bummed this wasn’t on audiobook.
Reese has built quite an interesting world with intertwining teams. And I’m here for all of them.
It a good case of “when you know, you know” Link & Eagle have been flying under the radar for too long to was time for their story.

Eagle and Link's story was a long time coming and I loved they way it played out. Eagle and Link are best friends in and out of the field, but after deciding to take their relationship to another level, they end up having a fight, and now things are tense between them. They end up working an operation together with Link the lead. Needless to say, things are tense between them, but as their case unfolds and comes to a head, so does their decision about their relationship. Steamy times, action and the coming together of another Pegasus couple is the order of the day. Can't wait for Jordan's story.

Absolutely love this book. I am a big fan of the story line when the bad guys are taken down with a smidge of romance added into the mix. I recommend this book and all others penned by Reese Knightley.

Link and Eagle finally got their story and the reasons for their love/hate relationship seemed so trivial compared to the angst with them. But glad this series ends with them. They couldn't be in the same room together, but always had the other's six.

    GREAT SERIES!

The book of Link and Eagle is one I have been waiting for since I first met them in Spencer's book Taking It Slow. Ever since, I had the feeling that there is something between the two and waiting for their story to be told.
The book doesn't disappoint and in their way towards each other they have to overcome the obstacles of their past.
☆☆☆☆☆ from me for another amazing story

A love story well worth reading. Link and Eagle both have painful pasts, making it difficult to let go and solidify their relationship from friendship to partnership.
The teams have had bets on this one for a long time and finally, a complicated case brings the tension to a head.
Kudos to the author for writing the most terrific, and shortest, prelude, to another growing relationship I’ve ever read: “Come here.” “No.” (You can practically hear the genesis of a new story developing.)

2.0 out of 5 stars another disappointing read in this series…

A romance without romance. Similar to the previous books in the series where the MCs fight, miscommunicate or don’t communicate and then suddenly everything is resolved. How did they fall in love? They barely talked to each other through the whole book. And the huge number of additional characters from other books is confusing.
