Second Match: Perfect Match Agency Book 5 Kindle Edition
Morgan is a handsome, wealthy businessman who attracts young omegas easily, but most are looking for a sugar daddy and never stick around.
Signing up with the Perfect Match Agency sounded like the best bet for finding his perfect mate, but Morgan’s first match ended before it could get started.
Now, the agency has found a second match for Morgan. He’s been skunked before. His heart is yearning, but his mind tells him not to get his hopes up. Will this omega, finally and forever, be his perfect match?
Would anyone want an omega who can never go out in the sunlight?
Riley has lived his whole life in isolation in a cult community that believes he is a demon because of his severe allergy to sunlight. Rejected by the cult and never forced to go to church, Riley shares nothing of their beliefs.
Still under guardianship of his parents and their backward ways, Riley is about to go into his first heat. It is church law that demands all omegas have husbands before that happens.
So far, Riley has rejected two horrid marriage prospects and no one else in the community wants anything to do with him.
Without Riley’s knowledge, his parents sign him up for Perfect Match, deciding any marriage, even with an alpha outside their beliefs, is better than nothing.
But what Riley really needs, more than marriage, is to be rescued from his bleak and toxic environment. And Morgan, when he meets Riley, may be just the alpha to do it.
Omegaverse, MM romance, matchmaking, instant attraction, heat and rut, virgin, age gap, rescue, disability, caretaking alpha, wedding, mpreg, HEA.
Perfect Match Agency is a multi-author gay romance series. The stories are non-shifter omegaverse, with high heat and low angst. Male pregnancy is possible in the world. Each book can be read as a standalone, features a new couple, and a satisfying happily ever after.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2023Another wonderful Perfect Match story! Ugh poor Riley. With a family and community that horrible I don't know how he turned out so sweet.
I wanted to read Morgan's story as soon as I'd read of him in Storm and Kaces book. Morgan is a great guy and I'm so glad he got his omega and his love story.
I give it 4.5 stars for my Alpha/omega fix. The ending was a bit predictable, but it's fine. I enjoyed reading about these characters. I do feel like there should have been someone there for Riley previously, a friend online, or maybe a neighbor kid, or even a sibling that had a relationship with him, defying the cult. Just sad.
Anyhow I enjoyed the book and love the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2023Not bad…lots of fluff & poetic musings. I didn’t think there was much story here, but you still get the full story if that makes sense. You will get the full story of Riley’s past and if you read Chance Match you know Morgan, but there were so much internal feelings being expressed that it just felt like filler. This one was also a little heavier with the cult thing (how Riley’s family treated him was just gross) and the drama with the arch lector (that was just bizarre), but for the most past I enjoyed it…mostly how Morgan immediately wanted to take care of Riley and made the necessary adjustments to make him feel not like a burden, but treasured and important.
I was happy that Morgan and Riley got there happily ever after!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2023Well written story and well developed characters! Morgan, after not having a match work out for him the first time, is finally getting a second chance! Will it work out this time?!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2023Love at first sight is a sweet and fanciful trope, but can mates really identify each other on first sighting? Wendy seems to think so. And, who’s to say she’s wrong. We’d all like it to be so, wouldn’t we? So, why not have it be so. In this story it works out fine. Even the vile opposition is eliminated through clean and legal maneuvers. Good stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Read
Ok, I was invested in this from the first couple of pages, religious parents, out-there son, first heat coming soon, forced marriage, Holy Smokes I thought it was Christmas!!! This is utterly gorgeous and adorable, except for the cult member parents who call their son a demon, and their so called minister who's basically a dirty old man, your heart will swell with love for Riley and Morgan as they navigate through all that's thrown at them. I am sooo loving this series!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finding the Light
We first met Morgan when he signed up for the Perfect Match Dating Agency. He's an older alpha who has a successful business and keeps getting matched with omegas who use him for his money.
When he is matched with Kace, he's excited, though his assistant Storm (also an alpha) is the one who turns out to be a perfect match for Kace.
This time round, he's matched with a young omega named Riley, whose parents set up the profile, demand he visits him at home, at night and that they marry before sex.
Riley lives his life in the dark in his bedroom, due to a UV and sunlight allergy.
His parents are part of a religious cult and want him mated and gone, as their religious leader, Carter, wants to take Riley's virginity and mate him.
When Morgan discovers this, he immediately offers to help Riley, the attraction instantaneous and Riley's heat being triggered. Morgan's rut also.
I wanted Morgan to find a mate after the first book and I'm happy to see he's found one who needs care and a rescue.
Rathbone has gone into detail about Riley's condition and also created a romantic scenario, a suitable villain and a lot of chemistry.
Seeing Storm and Kace return was great, as was the finale.
It's a sexy, sweet and funny book that also highlights the danger of religious cults.
I look forward to more books in this multi author series.

4.0 out of 5 stars In sickness and health
As a person who has been disabled for decades I was delighted to read another book with a main character who has some type of physical problem. I have heard about people who are allergic to the sun and I don’t know how close Wendy Rathbone has come to portraying it accurately but I can say that the way people treat you when you need “more” from them is very true to my life. I have never been told that I was a demon but people do act towards me like people do to Riley. I was lucky enough to find my own Morgan who loves me for who I am. I always enjoy series like this with different writers joining up. Honestly a match making agency like that described in this series sounds like a great idea. It makes for a fun series.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazing idea not well executed
I loved the setting and the initial introduction of the characters. It could have been very interesting but it was al 1 note and no real developments or plots. And the last 12% or so of the book is dedicated to other stories instead of first really making this one interesting. Would not recommend
