    He chuckled. "I’m Ben. Loving the bed hair, by the way. It's like you fought with a pillow, and the pillow won."

    Last year I picked up quite a few romances where one character is a ghost. I find them fascinating because if one character is dead, how can they make a romance work out? There are so many creative solutions to make it happen, so of course I'm always happy to read them when I find them. This is my first ghost romance of this year, and you can never go wrong with a Declan Rhodes romance.

    I loved the way Ben and Logan met. Definitely not your usual meet-cute. The banter between them was adorable and it was impossible not to love them- ship them- from their first page together.

    "No, Logan, it's not a booty call. Though, for the record, if ghosts could adequately appreciate booties, you'd be at the top of my call list."
    I chuckled. He had a charming sense of humor despite the bizarre revelation. "Alright, Casper, why are you here? I don't remember running over any pedestrians recently."

    This story was fun and sweet. My only complaint- I wish it were longer because I don't wanna give these boys up yet! 5 stars.

    This story is very different from anything else I have read by this author, and I enjoyed the paranormal theme and engaging characters. Ben's history seemed so typical of everyday people. He didn't meet his end through some horrific accident, just the kind of stupid stuff that happens every day. Going merrily along in life, then BAM! It made him more relatable. Logan was also vey sweet as the everyday guy Ben decides to haunt. Although I enjoyed the story and wanted to see if they would find a way to be together, I didn't really feel the love connection between them, and it seemed to happen very fast. I guess I needed to see more of the developing of the relationship. It also seemed odd that Logan didn't have more of an internal freak-out or questioning of his sanity when he first saw Ben. Still, it was a fun, sweet story with no drama or angst. Nice if you're looking for a ghost story without danger, horror or terror.

    This story is a sweet, supernatural romance. It is not a scary story, even though one of the main characters is a ghost. Ben has been stuck haunting his former apartment building. For the upcoming Halloween season, he decides to make himself known to Logan, who is living in the same building. Instead of being frightened by the appearance of a ghost, he is intrigued by the handsome spirit. Friendship turns into a search for a way to be together.     Logan gets the shock of his life one morning when a strange man appears in his bathroom mirror —- but he ONLY appears in the mirror, no one is behind him in the room. Thus enters Ben a resident ghost in the apartment building, playful, entertaining, and Logan’s new “roomie” for the month. Ben regales Logan with lots of tales, they talk endlessly about anything and everything, and feelings grow between the two, ones which can never really be realized — or can they? Hearing about a possible spell, and with unusual help from some special friends, Logan and Ben set out to try to do the impossible — find a way to be together for real.
    Engaging characters, helpful friends, unusual needs for a spell, and possible consequences make for a fairly short but enjoyable read.

    Life and even death come with great risks BUT worth the gamble for the right heart-felt reason. All Logan wanted to do was brush his teeth but what he found reflected in his mirror wasn't just himself but the apparition of Ben, the ghost who's chosen Logan as his Halloween subject. I really enjoyed this story of each man's journey to their HEA. Along the way wiccan neighbors aid in their trek. These secondary characters add a soul-stirring flavor. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

    3ish stars A fantastic start and I couldn’t hep laugh at Logan’s summary of his date night. 😂 oh what happens next freaks him out or not.
    Logan , 32 and hadn’t had much luck in the dating world.
    He meets Ben, oh Ben isn’t an ordinary chap.
    This was an ultra fast insta connection between Logan and 👻Ben. The story was fast moving which I didnt get the full feeling between the characters. Falling in love with a ghost in this breaks the old barriers of the paranormal to become human. Yeah a twist included that didnt feel right in this one.
    Mixed thoughts for the overall book but they get their HEA.
