    I absolutely love the way the Author has characters from other books show up. This was a beautifully written cowboy love story. I did not read her books in order. I plan to go back and read them consecutively as the stories and characters build on each other. I am totally hooked on these books.

    Another awesome story from Kaci and this time we get to know Ford and Savanah. Life can be tough when you each have goals that could keep you apart, but some how they make it work. I love this series and the quirky town. Secret Santa sounds awesome. It's these delightful details that capture me.

    This story is absolutely fun to read. Some parts of the story are just so predictable but others are not. it is quite well written though there were some typos and errors that I am sure will have been finalized before the final version that will be published. The story has a good storyline and the characters are just so fine. It is fun to read stories such as this one that are a part of a series that goes on in a small town, a village, between ranches, and between siblings etc. Each story is thus individual but there are always some characters that pop up now and then or again and again. I just somehow like that very much, so fabulous four stars go to this story.

    Nice to go back to Rock Springs, Texas for the Christmas and New Years and a new HEA story. The couple have so much for each other but one's a nester and the other is a runner. Will they ever decide what they really want and need or just continuing not talking and just assuming. Mature reader grab this book and the whole series.

    Kaci Rose has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Savanna and Ford. Savanna is out on our when a picture and article comes out about her that is not true. It causes problems and her manager takes her off the tour. She goes to her sister Lilly's house in Texas. When she gets to Lilly's, she meets Ford and there is an attraction between them. At first, they are just friends since she is planning on going back on tour after the new year. The more time she spends with Ford, the more her feelings change. Ford is always there doing things for her and just being there for her to talk to. The ladies of Rock Springs have come up with a new way to help new parents and when Savanna hears this, she tells Lilly that she wants to help. Lilly thinks that she just wants to help set things up. Savanna has another way to help and she takes Lilly off to the side and explains what she wants to do. Savanna tells her that once the news gets out that the press would swarm the town and Lilly's ranch. Lilly tells her that the town is used to the press since Jason the owner of WJ's did a cooking show in town. The town could be asked questions but they were good at not answering them if it was to an outsider. Once the ladies of the church find out what she wants to do, they get on the phone and get approval for it. Savanna's plan was to put on a concert and have all the money go to the fund, she was also going to have people donate when coming in the gate. The concert was a high success and they raised a lot of money and had a lot of donations. Ford was going to pick up Savanna, Lilly, and Mike to go and take part in the town's Secret Santa. This is where you put done what help you needed. This was to stop people that didn't have the money to spare didn't have to spend any money, they just gave their time. One of the things on Savanna's list was a little help in going over her contract. She didn't know if she wanted to go back on the road touring. A few days after everyone had gotten their Secret Santa person, Dallas and London from the band of Highway 55 called Savanna. They didn't like the way things had gone down with their band so they opened their own label. They want to talk to Savanna about some things. After she gets off the phone with them, she asked Ford if he would go with her since she didn't want to go alone. During the meeting with Dallas, and London, she finds out that she can get out of her contract since her manager had messed up over quite a few things. The big one was sending her away from the tour. They talk for a while and tell her that they do things differently there and were not expecting her answer until after the first of the year since they were closing the office between Christmas and the New year. They tell her to think about what she really wants and read the contract. She goes back to the hotel and tells Ford about the meeting. He is so proud of her and they end up going to bed. When they get back to Texas, things don't go well. Savanna's band shows up and wants her to come back out on tour. She is not so sure she wants to go now. Ford hears her manager call someone and tells them that she is all in. He gets upset over this and leaves. When she goes over to talk to him, they have an argument and he says some things that hurt her. She decides that if he feels that way, then she is not staying and goes back to Lilly's and packs her bag, and leaves. Savanna takes the time to write Ford a letter, telling him how she feels. Ford can't believe he said the things he did to Savanna and decides to go and talk to her. He goes to get his keys but his dad is there and tells him not to go without a plan. He waits until the next morning. When he gets to Lilly's, he asks to talk to Savanna but he is told she left the day before. Savanna is not happy out on tour so she decides to call Dallas and talk to him. She is happy after she gets off the phone with him. She goes to talk to her manager and gets a surprise. He is the one who was having the affair with the wife of a band member and blaming her. She took a picture of them together and told him that it would go online if he caused her any problems getting out of her contract. She calls Dallas and tells him about the picture and then sends it to him and said she didn't want to use it unless they had to. He tells her that he had a ticket waiting on her at the airport and to let him know when she landed so she got there without any trouble. She doesn't let anyone know she was coming back to Texas and the first place she goes to is Ford's house.
    Can things work out for Savanna and Ford?
    Will Savanna get the type of contract from Dallas and London she wants?
    This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

    This is Book 5 in the Cowboys of Rock Springs, Texas Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a heartwarming holiday romance between Savannah and Ford. These likeable characters and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. It is a love story with enough drama, humor, steam, frustrating moments, sweetness, family dynamic, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A fun read with a happy ending.

    I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Savannah has had her music career tarnished and heads to Texas to figure out where to go from here. While staying with her sister she meets Ford. He turns out to be more than just a sexy man in boots. Their growing feelings are genuine and passionate. Ford is supportive and protective of Savannah. When her career comes between them, things are said that seem to end it all. She tries to pick up the pieces of her life and move on when more is uncovered and changed with her career. Thru it, their hearts still want the other back. If they can trust in that, then they can have a future together. I thought that this was a well written story with great characters. It was nice to revisit the folks of Rock Springs again.
