    All threw the book parts are glossed over and your left with questions and then Damon and Keira's story just fizzles out with no real conclusion and it jumps to the cliffhanger ending with Damon and his brother Xander.

    When Keira finds her brother unalived, she didn’t know that he was with the mob, but she quickly finds out. Going to the address he told her she meets Damon; he agrees to protect her in exchange for something she not sure she’s willing to give.
    Damon knows that it was his brother that was after Keira, when he’s summoned to the house. He knows that Keira sees the two different people he can be, but he knows that she hasn’t seen the person he is about to become around his brother, because he will do anything to protect Keira, no one has gotten to him like she has.
    Keira realises that Damon will do anything to protect her, but she knows that Damon has women throwing themselves at him all the time, can she be enough.

    We first met the mysterious Damon in Hero and Elyse's book and in Protect Me we finally get to know the man.
    When Keira finds her brother dead in their apartment she turns to the man her brother told her that would protect her. Damon is clearly not the person she expected him to be, but with no one to turn to, she has to trust that her instinct is correct and the man who vowed to protect her will not break her.
    Damon with all of his darkness has found his light in Keira and their coming together is one story that you would not want to miss. I love it when these big alpha men can be brought down to their knees by women who maybe small in stature but forces to be reckoned with.
