She's Having a Baby: A Firefighter Surprise Baby Friends to Lovers Romance (The Saints of San Diego Book 1) Kindle Edition
A chance encounter on the beach sweeps Mike and Aisling into a world of passion. Mike’s best friend, Devon is there to pick up the pieces when the worst fire season in California history ultimately tests their love.
Mike Saint finally noticed Aisling Murphy when they walked the moonlit beach.
During a graduation party, Mike and Aisling were beachcombing for treasure. “So who is this Saint Dwynwen?” he asked, looking up from the medal they'd found in the sand.
Her eyes glistened in the moonlight, taking Mike’s breath away. “She’s the saint of lovers,” Aisling whispered.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2024I loved this story. I wondered when I started it, as this is not my usual type of story. It was a challenge for a book group, and I am so glad I did it. My heart fell in love with Devon and Aisling, and I love how their story turned out. I can't wait to read more in the Saints of San Diego series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2019Emotion filled story of love, trust and the brotherhood of firefighters. The loved ones of what they go thru when they are called out to fight fires. The bonds maybe tested but never broken. If one is taken they all share in deep sorrow and the joy of a new life is felt by all. Another good story and great characters.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2020I thought the idea of this book was good, but I just never felt much of an emotional connection to any of the characters. There was a point at maybe 60% in where I began to care more about them, but by the end I didn’t feel the same. My brain was happy for them, but my heart wasn’t very involved. The writing was pretty much free of any spelling or grammatical errors (yea!), but it was kind of disconnected—like I was watching everything unfold from far away instead of up close & personal. I haven’t decided if I will try another by this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020I loved this book and wanted to keep reading until the end. The only criticism is that there wasn't any sexual tension between the h&h until the very end. It seemed rushed from the time they "liked" each other until they were in bed. No foul language, sexual scenes, and no mistakes (yea!). It made me really appreciate what fire fighters and their families have to go thru. I loved the relationship between the buddies. They really had each other's back.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2020This was a good book. I just felt there were sections missing. Some of the story was hard to read & believe. I guess it had to be that way to make this book with a HEA. I do know it is difficult to forget a dead spouse & not everyone would be as understanding at
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021I gave this a 5. This is my first Suzanne Jenkins book even though I have several. I don't know why it took so long - started another 3 times but couldn't get started. This one grabbed me right away. The characters were like ones I would want to hang out with. Good story Lin. If there was a 4.5 option I probably would have gone there. I usually like to reserve 5 for books that go further but this was so satisfying. Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very moving!
What an exceptionally moving story. I cried and laughed at times although I had guessed what would happen. The story was well written and very moving.
