About the Author

Kyle Shoop is a multi-genre author of compelling stories. His new "Senses of Love" series is a romance series that provides rewarding and inspirational stories. The Sound of Love is the first book in the series. The Sight of Love is the second book. Both are now available and can be read in any order. 

Kyle is also the author of the Acea Bishop Trilogy, which is an action-packed fantasy series. All books in that trilogy are now available, with Acea and the Animal Kingdom being the first book.

At a young age, Kyle was recognized for his storytelling by being awarded the first-place Gold Key award for fiction writing in Washington State. After spending several years volunteering in his wife's elementary classrooms, he was inspired to write the Acea Bishop Trilogy. He is now motivated to finish his the new romance series. In addition to writing novels, Kyle is also a practicing attorney.

Sweet Romantic Story
Since he was very young all Ethan wanted was to paint...to express his emotions, not only for others to enjoy, but also as a way to release his thoughts and feelings. One day fate steps in and Ethan's dreams come true as Eugene (a local and accomplished artist) takes him under his wings and nourishes his talent. Years later, Ethan observes a young woman staring intently at a painting...one he happens to be the artist of. As they discuss the painting a single spark ignites, which turns into more...so much more as they both realize it's love at first sight. What a beautiful story that embraces love at it's most powerful...love at first sight. Their journey isn't easy, but at the same time it isn't hard. They have each other...always and through everything. I love the way the author describes art throughout their story and especially love the chemistry he brings into their relationship. He certainly knows how to tug at the heart strings. I received this E-Book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone.

    Are you looking for a romance book that gives you all the feels? This book was heartwarming, sweet, heartbreaking & had a sweet spin on fate. It is the second book in Kyle Shoop’s senses of love series, but the fun thing about this series is you don’t have to read them in order! I loved the special appearance of John’s band, Guy + Guitar, from the first book in the series! It was so sweet to see both stories cross paths in the way that it did! I believe that everyone who has been in love can find some way to relate to Ethan & Rose’s story. Whether it’s through their whirlwind beginning, or their family hardships, or even facing some terrifying health complications. It was beautiful to see throughout this novel that Ethan & Rose never lost sight of what mattered most, their own love story. Gosh, I could go on & on gushing about this book, such a sweet, refreshing read! I binged it over a weekend, but I’m sure some of you could easily finish in one sitting! This is available on kindle unlimited right now so be sure to check it out, it won’t disappoint!

    When Ethan sees Rose for the first time it is clearly love at first sight. Ethan’s only other love is his love for painting & art. Ethan’s love of art quickly becomes inspired by Rose’s beauty inside & out. Upon falling in love these two go through their fair share of loss & heartbreak. But in the end they never loose sight of each other & where their love story has taken them through time. A novel that proves that life may not always be fair, but when you open your heart, love can truly conquer all.

    The Sight of Love is a sweet and tender love story that brought me to tears. It is heartfelt and touching. The author has a lovely way of drawing the reader into the story with his deep and elegant prose of describing love through the eyes of the main protagonist, Ethan, a talented artist.

    Ethan’s first love has always been his painting. That is all he wishes to do with his life. He can’t imagine anything more important until he meets Rose. From the first moment he sees her in his gallery he is smitten - love at first sight. He can’t think of anything else except her. She inspires him so much that he creates his best work yet with her in mind.

    Rose and Ethan are very much in love and find that their lives are complete as they become one and have a family. But what comes next is not what they expect to happen to upset their happy and perfect life. Ethan must deal with some unimaginable heartache. Will he be able to handle this? When he meets one of his estranged sisters he is met with even more problems that he is forced to meet head on with his parents who he left behind when he was just a teenager.

    A lovely story that will draw you in and hold onto your heart. Keep tissues ready, you may need them. This is the second book in the series and as enjoyable or more so than the first.

    Kyle Shoop knocks another romance out of the park! It was hard for me to put down, so I finished it really fast. My only complaint is I wish it didn’t end!

    It was a simple, heartwarming story to follow. The main character goes through so much and luckily has an amazing woman by his side. The way they met was absolutely captivating...you can’t help but love a love-at-first-sight story. It later takes an ironic turn and issues that were present in the beginning were resolved beautifully at the end.

    Wow. I loved the first book, The Sound of Love, but this second one was somehow even better. This was such a compelling, emotional story that it’s hard to even put into words. I don’t want to spoil it. But sly he story between Ethan and Rose is beautiful. Very beautiful and meaningful. Easily worth a read, and I will be reading the next one in this series.

    Sometimes a book takes you to another place without expectation and it hits you in a profound way. When that happens I try to step back and allow the story to take me to this place I did not even have the forethought to go. This is what “The Sight of Love” by Kyle Schoop did for me today.

    This is the story of a young child named Ethan who was born with an innate talent to paint and is guided early on by another artist to take his talents to the next level. We see how Ethans artistic abilities transform him over his lifetime.

    We also find that Ethan meets the women who will take him from art that is driven by talent to art that is driven by both talent and emotion. This is Rose and you will see how she brings such joy and love into Ethan’s life as well as into his art work.

    Life is never easy and Mr. Schoop beautifully portrays this throughout this book. He draws us into various situations that elicit his readers to truly feel his characters emotions. I truly enjoyed reading this book. I give this 4/5 stars. If you want a book that makes you feel emotions I definitely recommend this book.
