Camille Picott has been writing Stories from the End of the World since she figured out how to turn on her family’s Apple IIe computer and wrangle a floppy disk into the drive. She loves zombies, hiking, and food (though not necessarily in that order).

She has a pet zombie named Steve who lives in her shed. He often comes out for family adventures and Instagram photos. (He is NOT a repurposed CPR dummy. He's a REAL zombie lovingly rescued from a dumpster who only happens to look like a repurposed CPR dummy.)

    I have to say that this story gets better and better with each book. Now we have Sentient Zombies that can think like normal people that want to use you for food and are almost indestructible unless you kill their brains. This writer has such a good way of creating and developing her characters that you grow to love or hate them just as she planned. She has you wondering what’s going to happen next and if your favorite characters will survive or not ( spoiler, not all do). So if your looking for a great series to read, look no further, this is the one, just start at book one for the best way to read it.

    I absolutely loved this series, a group of teenagers and a grandma fighting off Russian invaders that have infected the population with a zombie virus, yes there are a few casualties but I laughed and cried with The Snipers as they fought back with everything they had.
    I rarely give 5 stars but this series has been exceptional.

    Wow, I'm so happy I stumbled upon Camille. I have absolutely loved this series. It grabs you rough from the word go.
    The Snipers are a great group and someone you certainly want fighting in your side. I laughed and cried throughout the series.
    Definitely recommended, I'm off now to go and read about Kos.

The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life. Recommended. I pre-ordered the kindle version of book 5 as soon as I finished Sentients.
