Editorial Reviews

Review

"With such amazingly strong and well defined characters, a story within a story that takes the reader on several twists and turns and has an incredible ending, Stacy Eaton has written a phenomenal suspense romance novel."

"Stacy S Eaton has once again done a masterful job of creating breathtaking tension between two people, who know they shouldn't let their relationship develop."

From the Author

I'm one of those people who believe that you can accomplishanything if you set your mind to it. Hence the reason I write very strongfemales that demand to do things for myself. My female characters might beemotional, but that's okay, they are women, but they all have a backbone, orthey discover that they have the strength to stand on their own two feet. Mymale characters help them along the way, and while they are all strong leadsthemselves, they learn quickly not to step into the way of what a woman wants.

Detective Natasha (Tasha) Foster investigates a crash scene finding a dead female and a bag full of money, a murder weapon and another body in the trunk. Tasha questions the survivor who was the driver, a John Doe whom she nicknames Jay who wakes up with no memory of the crash. Jay is lost and confused and Tasha has Jay stay with her under house arrest. While Jay stays with her Tasha tries to revive Jay’s memory of the accident to find out who he is and if he has a family is a victim or a criminal. While Tasha digs deeper into the case, she uncovers more clues and Jay and Tasha start a romantic relationship. I really enjoyed this fantastic mystery romance novel.

An accident scene turns up two dead bodies, a bag full of money, and a witness who can't remember anything when he regains consciousness. Is he a victim too or was he the assailant? Detective Natasha Foster's investigation was suspenseful and captivating. I loved the mystery mixed with the romance between Tasha and Jay, her John Doe suspect. Their chemistry sizzled and I really enjoyed their story.

Tasha is a police officer dispatched to a traffic accident in which a passenger died and the driver is found unconscious. To make matters worse the body of a woman is found in the trunk with a bullet hole in her head. A duffle bag is found in the back seat and is filled with money. What in the world happened? Things are even more confused when the driver wakes up with amnesia and he can't be of any help. It is decided that the driver, whom Tasha calls Jay, will stay at her place under house arrest. It doesn't take long for Tasha and Jay to realize they developed feeling for each other, but they decide it would be wrong to act on these without knowing whether James is a criminal or married with a family. Will Jame recover his memory and what will be the consequences if he does? This is another interesting, well-written book by this author.

I love Ms. Eaton’s books, especially these that bring in her police background. Natasha had two sides to her, the hard nose cop and the tender hearted woman. Even though Natasha didn’t know anything about the man in the car with two dead bodies and him with amnesia, she had a gut feeling he was a good man. She named him Jay, and I loved how he brought her tender, caring side out. You could just feel the struggles the two had trying to stay away from each other even though they were staying in the same house. It was so cool that they had the exact same wolf tattoo. I felt so bad for Jay not having any memory, and when something would try to come back he would get such bad headaches. This was such a touching, tender book at times. I loved it, and strongly encourage you to read the book.

Six Days of Memories by Stacy Eaton. It's the first of her books I read. I was curious about the storyline. It was a little different from some others. I wanted to keep reading to find out if "Jay" was a good guy or a bad guy. I won't give it a way. The story held my interest and I liked most of the characters. I would like to read more of Stacy Eaton.

I just finished this book by Stacy Eaton and couldn't wait to let you and Ms Eaton know that - I think this is the best of all her books. First chapter pulls you in to a police investigation of an auto accident that soon develops into much more, leading you to chapter after chapter of suspense and the development of a great love story. Once you start reading, it will be hard to put down. What I love most about Eaton's style of writing is the talent she has to always writing the story with twist and turns that you would not expect, but are believable. Lots of behind the scene police work in this novel. The main story takes place in 6 days-- Boy a lot can happen in 6 days.

I think this story was the first book by Stacy that I read, I have been a fan of her writing ever since. Stacy gets to the heart of what matters , whether it's a police drama / love story or a story about battered women who finally fine the trust to love again. Her books also contain hummer, so give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Wow!! what an emotionally packed book. Ms Eaton has definitely the art of storytelling down pat. The characters are larger than life, with the various scenes playing in my head as I read.
This particular story involves a Detective, who for the sake of her gut feeling, takes a man, who had lost his memory in a car accident, into her home, even though there were suspicious circumstances, about the accident, still to be explained. The mutual attraction between victim and officer was intense, but held in check, due to not knowing if he already had personal commitments, which he could not presently remember.
You need to read the story for yourself, to learn what happens.

I was originally enticed by the cover of this book...then I read the synopsis and decided I definitely HAD to read it. I devoured it. It was a fabulous read. Great characters, believable plot...and after all the angst (I did ugly cry at one point) I got the HEA I was after, so they turned into happy tears. :) This is the first book I have read by Stacy Eaton...but it certainly won't be the last. Excellent book!

Don't know what it was about this book.i had to start speed reading story ,as to drawn out and slow.but gave up at 46 %. I thought this was a great idea for a book, but I think it needed more action earlier in story ( meaning more story behind male character, maybe not I.d, but some hint of detail to initiate interest )to keep reader interested.Up to 46 % it's all about the build up to sex and really who cares if under lying story not keeping better time to keep audience interested.
