Stealing Gold (The Logan Series Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 62 ratings

“It’s a leading role?

As the voice of a singing squirrel?

I’ll take it.”

If Stacy wasn’t broke, she wouldn’t even think of becoming the voice of an animated squirrel. Or returning to Ireland to work with her ex-husband, Adam.

Why, oh why did his lead voice actress have to injure herself in a twerking accident?

And surely there must be some alternative to having his ex-wife replace her?

With both of their backs against the wall, Stacy and Adam must grit their teeth and work together or go broke. And every day together makes them wonder if breaking up really was the best thing to do…

Can Bibi’s Big Adventure turn out to be a big adventure for Stacy and Adam too?

You’ll love this heart-warming second chance romantic comedy because who wouldn’t love sexy situations with a side of singing squirrels?

The attraction between Adam and Stacy was undeniable. These two could not resist their feelings for one another. I enjoyed the storyline with this one. I liked the events and how they played out. I've read the entire Logan series to date and have to say I think each one gets better. I'm a huge second chance fan and I think Sally did a wonderful job bringing these two back together again.

Another entertaining Logan family read from Sall Clements. I've enjoyed many of her books and this is no exception. It's a second chance romance with a good storyline that has you rooting for Adam and Stacy right from the start. Their mutual attraction is undeniable even as they struggle to overcome the deceipt of Stacy's manager. I enjoyed the story and look forward to more of the Logan family.

Stealing Gold by Sally Clements, is the fourth book in The Logan Series and it can be enjoyed as a a standalone. To date, I have read books two and three from the series and liked them very much. Each installment is focused on a sibling from the Logan family, and this time Adam Logan, a successful businessman and aspiring filmmaker, is in the spotlight.

Stacy Gold is one of the hottest female vocalists in country music. For the past decade, she and her career have been handled by her manager. Unbeknownst to Stacy, her manager has been skimming off the top for years, to the point of selling her home right out from under her. In order to keep the money coming in while she figures out her next step, Stacy agrees to voice a character in her ex-husband's new animated film. Their old spark reignites very quickly, which results in a relationship that sizzles.

Logan truly believed that Stacy was the one, so he was devastated when she divorced him very quickly and without any explanation. Her manager ends up being the catalyst in the demise of their marriage, which they both finally learn about as spend time together working on the film. Stacy was not Logan and his partner's first choice for the movie, but hiring her prevented their animation company from folding.

Ms. Clements's nicely combines heat and discovery into this read. I immediately connected with both Stacy and Logan, and there was never a moment that I did not want them to be together. The villain in this book, Stacy's manager, is well thought out and his actions are contemptible, which makes for good writing. I found the fluidity of the story to be a little bumpy at times.
