The Skimmerdale Collection: Contains Summer Secrets at Wildflower Farm and Summer Wedding at Wildflower Farm Kindle Edition
Summer Secrets at Wildflower Farm
Blackmailed by her employer's daughter into taking her place, Eden finds herself agreeing to head up to the Yorkshire Dales to care for the motherless children of sheep farmer, Eliot Harland.
Her summer in Skimmerdale is far from easy, as Eden navigates the supermarket with three young children in tow, confronts her fear of horses, and learns the pecking order in the cake tent at the local show – all while dealing with a double identity, a jealous family friend, and another charming blackmailer.
But as summer draws to a close Eden faces her toughest challenge yet. The man she loves has no idea who she really is, and it seems she's left it too late to tell him.
Can she escape the Honey trap in time, or will this sheep farmer discover he's had the wool pulled over his eyes?
Summer Wedding at Wildflower Farm
There's nothing lovelier than a summer wedding - unless the wedding planner decides otherwise.
Emerald, the almost-forgotten middle daughter of 1970s rock god Cain Carmichael, wants one thing: to run a new age retreat. Unfortunately, there's not much chance of that since she hasn't got a penny of her own.
But when her father humiliates her at her sister Honey's wedding, she decides it's time he paid his dues. One thing's for sure - she's never going to let him ignore her again.
A desperate Cain strikes a bargain. He'll set her up in business if she organises a dream wedding for his former employee, Eden Robinson.
Emerald despises Eden, the woman she believes has taken her place in her father's affections. Not only that, but Eden is marrying the gorgeous Eliot Harland, the first man Emerald has been attracted to for years.
If she organises the wedding, Eden has won her man. But if she doesn't, Emerald will lose her only chance to own a retreat.
She must decide what she wants most, her dream business or revenge.
But as the summer on Wildflower Farm works its magic, Emerald begins to realise there's something she wants even more…

About the author

Sharon Booth writes cosy romances, as warm and welcoming as a mug of hot chocolate, served in delicious, small-town settings, stirred with family relationships, close friendships, and tight-knit communities, and topped with a swirl of humour.
They're also available with a scoop of the supernatural, and/or sprinkles of magic and mystery!
Contemporary romance fans should check out the Kearton Bay, Skimmerdale, Home for Christmas, Bramblewick, Moorland Heroes, The Other Half, and Tuppenny Bridge series.
If magic and mystery is your thing, Sharon also has a series of non-spicy, light-hearted paranormal romances, The Witches of Castle Clair, which features the talented St Clairs, their quirky familiars, and quite a bit of cake. They offer lots of magical mishaps, family dramas, and new twists on myths and legends.
New for 2025! Ghosts of Rowan Vale is a brand-new series set in the stunning Cotswolds. Cosy contemporary romance with a dash of ghostly goings-on! Kindred Spirits at Harling Hall, the first in the series, is out now.
Sharon lives in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. When she's not writing she loves reading, visiting old castles, abbeys, and stately homes, watching Cary Grant films and old Ealing comedies, or researching her family tree. She loves horses, hares, and harbours, and admits to being shamefully prone to crushes on fictional heroes!

So many characters' stories were bittersweet, or grew into redemption!
I have to agree with another reviewer, I wasn't ready to let go of the series, the interesting characters, the hardly-working & those with their noses to the grindstone in the Yorkshire Dales' setting.
Love will find a way...

5.0 out of 5 stars I did not want this series to end!
Just wonderful, set briefly in the Cotswolds and mostly in a sheep farm in Yorkshire, the Skimmerdale Collection follows Eden, firstly in her job working for Honey, the wild-child daughter of rockstar Cain Carmichael. And secondly, Cain's other daughter Emerald, who has middle-child syndrome - and more! I've never seen Sharon Booth write an unlikeable character before - and she did it so well! There's romance, nail-biting twists, the word 'mardy' (love that) and the sentence 'But this is Yorkshire' Eliot said, in a voice that clearly ruled out a croquembouche' ! Just brilliant! I am recommending buying the collection together, because you'll want to read on, trust me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Addictive.
Just finished & I didn't want it to end. I'm hoping this isn't the last of these characters: they still have so much more to say. Still want to know what happens to Cain and Deborah and of course the newly born Emerald, not to mention the planned farm. I'll keep my fingers crossed but of course, in the meantime I'll be looking to see what other treats you have in store.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderfully written book
This is a book about family.
All the highs and lows, love and hate, trust and mistrust, laughter and tears and a million other emotions that surrounds a family.
Another beautifully written novel by the super talented Sharon Booth. She writes real words about real things that makes you think about your own reactions to lifes ups and downs.
I can't recommend these books high enough, so put the kettle on, curl up on your favourite chair and start reading. You won't be disappointed I promise you.
