Team Fear is on a mission to figure out what was given to them and to counter it. In the process is Team Echo trying to kill them all. Mandi Gault, twin sister of Danny, is just trying to figure out why Danny is dead. By searching, it brings Echo close to killing her. Stills has been in the background keeping her safe. What no one knew on Team Fear was that Danny had a daughter named Ellie. Now the race is to get them both to safety. In the process Stills is fighting the feelings he has for Mandi. What can he truly offer her? Everyone loves Ellie. Listening to them try to tell PG stories of her Dad was funny. In the end, Stills admits his love of Mandi. He'd rather admit his love than to lose her.

I read all 3 books and did not like the ending. I feel like the story this group is not finished. There are to many unanswered questions. I thought if I read the whole set I would my answers but it didn't...

I really enjoyed the latest installment in the team fear series. My biggest critique is that I wish there were more. Things I loved: seeing loner Stills become part of the team and finding something to live for; the prologue that gives the reader another glimpse into the past; the new tidbits about the overall conspiracy.
Things that needed work: once I'm invested in a series I don't mind so much when there are questions left unanswered but there was a lot of new information presented and none of it was resolved. I'm guessing that all the evidence surrounding team fear and team echo presented in this book will be resolved in the next, most likely featuring Craft and Allyson.
Overall, a nice romance story, lots of danger and a few new twists involving the overarching team fear storyline. If you have not read the previous books, do not start here. While technically you could read this as a stand alone, especially as the author provides a bunch of info from previous books, I wouldn't recommend doing that. But as a whole, definitely read this series if you enjoy military based romantic suspense.

This is a great series that should be turned into a mini series or movies. Can't wait for the next one!!

Every Team Fear novel seems better than the last. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Ms Skaggs’ own military background ensures a taste of authenticity.

The fact that our heroine is a mortician is just icing on the cake. Sure, she’s seen corpses before, but maybe not when they’re so fresh.

Stills doesn’t seem like this group’s likely candidate for romance, either. So when this pair falls together, it’s guaranteed to absorb your interest. Five stars.

This woman can really write! I love this series. The action and relationships are lifelike and highly realistic. I can't wait to read more of this author's work. She lays it down and makes it real.

Finally Dean Stills finds love! I really liked him from previous installments and was excited for him to get his own story. In book 2, it had mentioned how he broke up with his girlfriend and made sure that she hated him after the situation with Madigan. I figured this was going to be a story about him getting her back, but he is actually paired with Gault's sister. Even though it wasn't what I expected, I liked this story even better than what I was envisioning! I like Mandi and Dean and thought they were well suited. My only complaint was that the ending felt a little abrupt--I would have loved an epilogue! Looking forward to book 4!
