That’s what happened with Alex and Kat in Madrid, then a mutual wedding brings the two back together for the second time.
The story takes a while to develop as we get each character’s view. Too many characters enter the mix and there is a lot of lengthy and descriptive narrative. There’s a nice romance that develops, but it takes a long time to develop. The writing was pretty good, and, overall, this is an interesting second chance romance with a hint of mystery to their shared past.
A fairly nice read.
