Damn, you know you’re in love when you’ll go into the jungle, dodging bullets and fighting killers just to get your man back.

Either that or Lydia’s just crazy as hell.

When ruthless Efrain kidnaps Lydia’s boyfriend Cam and demands she delivers Theodore’s Ring, a legendary artifact worth millions, Lydia races to the Casanu jungle to save her man. You go, girl!

She embarks on the journey with her ex-lover, Sullivan, (say what now?), who agrees to help her even though he wants her back and vows to make her his, whatever the cost.

Cam is toast if Lydia doesn’t deliver the ring within days, but throw in harsh terrain, three mysterious strangers, a duel with a King Cobra, and an ex who can’t keep his hands to himself, and Lydia quickly realizes saving Cam and being stuck in the jungle with no hair products is only half the battle.

I've read a lot of books written by Stacy-Deanne; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

She has written another good book. The story is about Lydia being forced to go into the Casanu jungle to get the Theodore’s Ring; it worth millions but she has to get it because Efrain has kidnapped her boyfriend Cam. She teams up with her ex Sullivan; he wants her back but agrees to help her.

This was a wonderful way to start and spend some quiet time. I enjoyed the chemistry and the adventure. Could have had a better ending. But I still would read it again.

I’m looking forward to seeing and reading more.

I quite like this author but I didn't care too much for this book. The drama and adventure was amazing but I felt that Lydia was a bit of a contradiction. That was annoying. Overall, I'd say read it. It's not a bad read, just not one of her best reads.

Lydia will do anything for the man she loves including going into the jungle to save him after he’s been kidnapped. When Cam’s life is threatened, Lydia must go into the jungle and retrieve Theodore’s Ring. A ring that Cam buried after his fathers death in order to keep it from Efrain. But at least she doesn’t have to do it alone.

Sullivan York is Lydia’s ex-lover and says he’ll do whatever it takes to get her back. No. Matter. What.

So now Lydia is dealing with a crazy man threatening her boyfriend, an obsessed ex, and all the craziness that comes with traveling in the jungle. With a deadline of only a few days, Lydia needs to find the ring and save Cam. And fast.

Theodore’s Ring was a quick, fun read. A great novella that stands alone enough to not feel like you’re missing information by not reading the series that it’s spinning off from. I feel like it could easily become a full length novel about Lydia and Cam and how they got their start. It’s a fun little teaser to get me intrigued about other books from this author and I’ll definitely be checking out more!

First let me say this is a New and Exciting author for me. So the story begins. Lydia's boyfriend Cam has been kidnapped and she has a limited time to find him. If she does not bring the priceless ring, she may never see Cam again. She will need to go to the Casanu Jungle and fight her way to free Cam. As a strong character Lydia has the strength to do this on her own, okay with some help from her ex-boyfriend. But does Sullivan have alternative plans? Really Lydia has many struggles to work through and Sullivan should not be one of them. So let this intriguing story begin for you. This author got my attention in the first couple of pages. I had a hard time putting this book down. The rollercoaster of emotions was opened in this book. This has been quite the story to read. I will be looking forward to reading more from this author.

    5 stars!

WOW! This author is truly amazing! I have never read about a character with so much description as I did with this book and with the character of Sullivan. This author had me hating Sullivan so much, I wanted to put the book down and plot the demise of a fictional character for the first time ever! The twist in this book had my jaw dropped and just all around amazed at the flow of the story. Lydia and Cam, I love them, they seem perfect for each other. At one point I was nervous I was going to be hating Lydia, but she was strong and pulled through! I highly recommend this read, it has romance, action, drama, and adventure, I seriously enjoyed this book and can’t wait to check out more by this author!

This is a great story of romance and adventure.

You know you're in love when you'll trek into the bush to save your man, avoiding gunfire and fighting murderers. Either that or Lydia is really insane. Lydia goes to the Casanu forest to save her lover Cam when the vicious Efrain kidnaps him and demands she give Theodore's Ring, a fabled item worth millions. You've got it, girl! She sets out on the journey with her ex-lover, Sullivan (say what now? ), who agrees to assist her despite his desire to reclaim her and vows to make her his, no matter what it takes. Lydia quickly realizes that saving Cam and being stuck in the jungle with no hair products is only half the battle. Add in harsh terrain, three mysterious strangers, a duel with a King Cobra, and an ex who can't keep his hands to himself, and Lydia quickly realizes that saving Cam and being stuck in the jungle with no hair products is only half the battle.

I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read the rest of her books.

Lydia in this story was captivating. She was a no nonsense kind of woman. She didn't care who got in her way, she was going to do her best to save her new boyfriend much to her ex's dismay. The entire time he does not stop trying to get her back, but she doesn't stray. She always keeps Cam in her minds eye. Many trials are put in her way to keep her from saving Cam, but she doesn't let that stop her. I enjoyed reading about Lydia's adventures. Her story keeps you on the edge of your seat and rooting for her the entire way. The ending was not what I expected, but I still enjoyed it!

Lydia might be brave, however she should not have stayed with either man because neither one loved her.
Let’s start with Sullivan. Clearly he was obsessed with her and what he put her through was not love.
2/ Cam didn’t love her either. If he did he would not have put her in the position of having to run through the jungle. If all Efrain wanted was the ring, he could have negotiated the ring in exchange for Lydia. Secondly there is no way a sane person would think that their ex best friend whose girlfriend they are now involved with, would be ok to risk their life, no questions asked. Getting Sullivan involved was crazy. By the way, although Sullivan was crazy, what Cam and Lydia did was foul. You can’t help who you fall in love with, however they should have talk to Sullivan to put everything on the table. That’s what best friends do.
I understand that Cam’s emotions were all over the place, however after she risked her life for him to dare question her loyalty was too much. Lastly, Cam doesn’t value her. After she risked her life, for him to donate that ring without talking to her first shows selfishness disguised under the “nice guy persona”.
